The Vita has proper games you can play, while you can play older, but still decent games/emulator games on the netbook as well as hook up an external hard drive to it and listen to music/watch movies. • PS Vita/Tablet and Netbook, or just a Notebook?

Ok, so I currently own a PS3 and a Samsung Galaxy S2. I had a desktop PC but sold it last year as it was taking up too much space (and I wasn't really using it) in my small flat. I basically use the PS3 for watching movies/playing with my friends when they come over. The S2 I use for, well, a phone. So, what would you recommend and why?

  • Do you have to re-download a game you got for free whilst on a PS+ Membership if you decide to buy it?

Ok, so I get that while you have a Playstation Plus membership any "free" game you downloaded will only be playable as long as you remain a member of PS+. My question though is: Say you decide to not renew your membership and want to buy the game (while NOT a PS+ member), do you have to completely re-download the game AGAIN, or just buy it... show more

  • Should I get a Tablet or Netbook?

Sold my desktop a while back due to moving into a smaller flat and space being restricted. Missing basic PC functions, so now I'm considering either getting a tablet or a netbook (basically something cheap, small and portable). Which one would be better in terms of functionality?

Basically what the question asks. Do I HAVE to be online if I want to transfer between my PS Vita and PS3, or can it be done while offline as well?

  • Sell my PS3/PS Vita and get a Notebook?

Ok, I currently own a PS Vita as well as a PS3. I've had the PS3 for more than 3 years while I've only had the PS Vita for a couple of months. I used to also own a desktop PC for 2 years, but ended up selling that last year because A) it was just lying around and B) the new flat I moved into didn't have enough room for a desktop PC. Anyway, I've now found I miss SOME form of personal computer when I'm not at work, and have opted to get a netbook/notebook so I can use that if needed. Only thing is I don't really have the cash, and probably won't have for a couple of months. So, should I sell either my Vita/PS3, or even both? I mainly use the Vita, as I've always liked portable gadgets. The PS3 on the other hand has mainly been unused, unless I'm watching a movie or playing with friends (very seldom). So, what do you think?
