women analysts KNOW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT SPORTS!! Doris burke is no exception! Her voice is annoying as heck, and she looks ridiculously stupid with those glasses she wears. I dont think she even played basketball a day in her life. At least Cheryl Miler actually knows what shes taking about.. this fool needs to get fired!! Im sick of it!5 AnswersBasketball8 years ago
Buy or Sell? This section is full of people who know nothing about basketball, trolls, and Miami Bandwagoners?
I say buy.
BQ: Why do you think everyone left? Explain that one to me.
BQ2: How sad is the Basketball Section, honestly?9 AnswersBasketball8 years ago
If Miami wants to win a championship, why don't they just use their amnesty on Mike Miller and sign Jamaal Crawford for 5.00M a year? It would be the obvious solution to their point guard problem.. are the Heat that dumb?
STAR if you agree with me.10 AnswersBasketball9 years ago
What do you guys think?6 AnswersBasketball9 years ago
Some people believe that if you buy expensive basketball shoes, you will see a difference in your game. But do you think they really help your overall game as much as they are claimed to? As for me, I buy good basketball shoes, but I only care about three things: Comfort, Weight, and Grip. I look for a comfortable shoe that also fits well to my foot, length and width wise, and something that doesn't drag me down or make me trip. And to me, other than being comfortable and giving you good grip when you are playing ball, shoes don't give you any boosts on the court. I don't believe in shoes making you jump higher or run faster. In the end, it always comes down to how skilled you are. Am I right? I wanna hear your opinions.
BQ: If you could only buy basketball shoes from one company, what would you choose, and why? (Jordan, Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Converse, etc.)5 AnswersBasketball9 years ago
Every time there's a question about where Dwight will go in free agency, nobody talks about him staying in Orlando. It's as if the Orlando Magic team doesn't exist? All people talk about is L.A, NJ, N.Y, and sometimes Chicago. Dwight has already indicated that his PREFERENCE would be to stay with the Magic. At the same time, he insisted he can't do it alone and he needs a better supporting cast, but who's to say that Orlando can't give him a better supporting cast? All it could take is a trade or two to bring this team back to the top. As far as I can tell, Howard is pretty comfortable being the star of the show, and racking up Defensive Player of the Year awards. Your thoughts?
I was just wondering if he would still be the G.O.A.T because of his talent, but personally, I doubt it because championships are so important to a players' legacy.
BQ: If M.J wasn't the G.O.A.T, who would be, and why?14 AnswersBasketball9 years ago
If you don't recognize that name, it's the thug who pulled the unloaded gun on Arenas (and Arenas pulled one on him) in the locker room. Now he's getting charged for murder. He shot a woman on the street in Atlanta. What are your thoughts?
BQ: Will this affect the NBA's reputation even though he doesn't play anymore?11 AnswersBasketball9 years ago
So do you think the developers of 2k12 will put down his offensive & maybe defensive clutch down? I think so.
Alright, I have an interesting story that is VERY ironic...
True story: So I was playing NBA 2k11 with my friend the other day, and I was using the Dallas Mavericks and he had the Miami Heat. My friend was leading for most of the game, before I made a comeback during the 3rd quarter which made it tie game. During the fourth quarter, whenever I scored, he would score also, so it was tied until I hit a long 2 pointer with Jason Kidd with about 25 seconds to go. So my friend goes down the court for a chance to tie. He shoots the ball with Wade with around 15 seconds left, and misses. I run down the court and set up for one last shot to seal the game. He moved Wade up on Nowitzki and stole the ball from me. With seconds to go, he was on a fast break with Wade and LeBron, and nobody could catch up. He passed it up to LeBron and he went up to dunk the ball, BUT HE MISSED! I laughed so hard because it was ironic how LeBron choked in a video game AND in real life, LOL.
So what do you think of my story? This isn't trolling, this ACTUALLY HAPPENED LOL.13 AnswersBasketball9 years ago
Who here has the skills to take down "The White Mamba" in a game of 1 on 1?14 AnswersBasketball9 years ago
The only team I can think of was the 2003-04 Detroit Pistons, but Hamilton and Billups could be considered stars back then, even though they weren't at their primes.12 AnswersBasketball9 years ago
I would be Big Z (Zydrunas Ilgauskas) so that I can pick up chicks all day long. Or, I would be Earl Boykins because I could laugh at myself all day long. Another option for me would be LeBron James, because I would take my talents to every team in the league, and I would have a blast making 30 Decisions. (All of them would be 1 hour specials)
No, but seriously who would you be and why? Explain.18 AnswersBasketball9 years ago
To me, Yao Ming was sucessful in the NBA because he had a 6-7 inch advantage over the other players. If he was 7'0, he wouldn't be able to score nearly as much due to his lack of speed, strength, and athleticism. He would easily be stopped in his tracks and overpowered once he got into the post. I just don't see him being any kind of effective player if he was 6 inches shorter. What do you people think?10 AnswersBasketball9 years ago
In a game up to 21, who would win, Shawn Kemp or Amar'e Stoudemire, and why?
BQ: How about Shawn Kemp vs. Dirk Nowitzki?
Additional info: In Shawn Kemp's prime, he averaged 19.6 points, 11.4 rebounds, 1.6 blocks, 1.2 steals, and 2.2 assists.11 AnswersBasketball9 years ago
