  • Whats a lighthearted revenge scheme?

My friend and her sister messed with my head earlier and i want to get a little lighthearted revenge on her. Any ideas? All i have so far is throwing some apple sauce on her when she comes over soon, and that just seems silly

  • Am i rebounding or what?

So i was on an all-summer flirting chain with a friend. During this time i sort of did something similar with another girl, who is two years younger then me. Not wanting to hurt her, i tried to use the words "bud" or "pal" whenever possible, and started calling her my surrogate little sister. Well i crashed and burned with the first one, and in my bad mood i tried to deal with it by focusing on the surrogate little sister. I was very flirty and friendly to her, and startedd getting texts about how she cant stop thinking of me, and how her hearts fluttering. The thing is, its not that i don't like her or anything. I'm just not sure if i'm rebounding, and if i am i don't want to end up hurting her. I'm 17 and she's 15, which seems weird to me for some reason. How can i either work my way out of this, or tell whether i'm just rebounding or not?

  • Where do i go from here?

    (17 year old high schooler)

So i have a female friend. We had lunch together throughout the year, and became pretty good friends. Over the summer we've been flirt-texting and calling and all that. Well i've grown to really really like this girl, i've told her stuff about myself i haven't told anyone else, ever. She's done similar with me.

So the other day i found myself in a pondery mood and i realized that i really wanted to be with this girl. I sent her a long winded text about how great she is and how much she means to me (a text because she was away from her phone and i didn't wanna lose my nerve.) So we keep flirting and she talks about her old boyfriend, who in a nutshell kind of crushed her. She talked about how she can't emotionally be in a relationship right now. I responded by telling her i felt like a tool for trying for one. After some mish mash, she says she's sorry if she may have crushed me,then said she loves me, but can't emotionally be in a relationship right now.

  • Old Fashioned Wet Shaving?

Because i love doing crazy stuff, i wanted to try wetshaving. The old fashioned sort.

I found a bunch of supplies in a start up kit here-

    http://www.eshave.com/template.php?file=Start_Up_K...

But it only has the new kinds of razors i already have. If i'm not mistaken, old fashoned wet shaving uses a different kind of razor. Anyone know a place where i can find a good cheap razor,

or a better deal than the one above?

  • How to properly address this?

I'm mailling this letter to a friend, and the only envelope i could get my hands on has an unrelated return address in the upper left corner and one of those plastic window things below it.

Do i have to use the window, or can i write the address above/to the side of it? Can i cross out the return address or write a different name or something?

Will it still go through if i do that? I don't have access to a blank envelope or anything.

    In Sumary-

Can i cross out the reutrn address and write a new one next to it?

Does the send address have to be in the window or can i write it above?

  • Would a nap during the day be a good idea?

I'm sleep deprived a little, because i'm up until 3 am or so collaborating on a project. But i'm really only getting started at around 9-10pm. If i took naps from like 4-6, would that help? Or would that only serve to make me groggy, and not help much with actual helpful sleep?

  • Is Obama gonna be in DC anytime soon?

I'm in DC right now, and i would be able to stop by Obama's office if he is in town. But (obviously) he's a bit busy out of the district at the moment. Is he going to come back to the senate anytime soon?

  • The Lyrics and Music for "My dick in a box?"?

    Hi,

I'm not sure if thats what its actually called, but the video is here.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhwbxEfy7fg

    Youtube thumbnail

yeah, its censored. The uncensored one used to be up.

Anyway we're doing a modified version of this for a talent show. Does anyone have the

    A. Lyrics (so we can change them around and print them)

    B. The music. Just the music, without the singing. This might be harder.

I would really appreciate it if anyone could help

  • Tell me about the south african embargo?

I was wondering if anyone could explain to me in really detailed terms the South African embargo. Why it happened, how it affected the US and South Africa, why did or didn't other countries participate, was it effective, etc. I would love to hear some hard statistics as well, if thats not a problem.

  • Should we leave Iraq by 2009? I need both sides here?

    Hey,

So i got assigned to the negative side of a debate on whether we should pull out of Iraq by 2009. Basically, i'm arguing against the idea. SO. I would love arguments for both sides. Ones that think we should so i can refute them, and ones that think we shouldn't so i can use the ideas. Linked statistics and the like are wonderful.

I'm by no means asking you to do my debate for me, but some details would really help me get more points of view when preparing this.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Reasons why CEO's should not have their pay limited?

Me and a partner are doing a debate on the above topic and we're trying to get more points. Our main ones thus far (Obviously in greater detail than outlined here)-

Limiting pay detracts from the principles of a free market economy

CEO's are paid mostly in stock options, so if they do not create a profitable corporation they get essentially nothing (other than a rather small base salary)

When CEOS make a company succeed, it helps keep jobs. If they do a bad job, American jobs will be lost with the company. Therefore his pay is well earned (kinda wishy washy)

    Anything would be great

  • Court Progression of Schenk V United States?

Could anyone direct me to a source on the court progression of Schenck v. United States? Google hasn't worked for me.

What i mean by court progression is, for example,

    (The below is made up)

New York district court says schenk innocent, but you cant dodge drafts

New York state supreme court says guilty, cant do it

Supreme court agress with state court, schenk goes to jail

Obviously more detail than that, but you get the idea. I need the lower courts (below the sup court, i know what happened there) and their decisions.

And yes, i checked Wikipedia. I know what happened once it reached the supreme court, i need what came before it.

  • Video chip question?

    Heya,

So i found an amazingly good deal on a laptop. 1.87 ghz dual core, 3 gigs of RAM, 160 gig HDD 5200 rpm, dvd burner, etc and only for about $600.

My only concern is the video chip. Its an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100

Now, all i want to do that relates to video on my laptop is watch movies, play games that are very lightweight (128 MB about) and use photoshop.

My quesiton is, will this chip have the capacity to do these things? From my understanding, since it draws power from the processor, the 3 gigs of RAM should allow it to preform fairly well. But maybe i'm wrong- could anyone clarify if this chip is going to be a severe hinderance?

  • Is this laptop as good as it looks?

    Hey chaps,

This laptop looks fantastic, i found it on newegg. But a google to find battery life (apparantly 3.5 hours, pretty darn good) found a circut city deal that was cheaper.

Is this a trap of some sort? I always thought newegg was the absolute cheapest.

Oh and 1.66 Ghz is plenty for photoshop and the like, correct?
