Right now I'm a sophomore in high school in a competitive western PA high school. I really want to go to UCLA and I didn't know if this would be enough to get in...
3.6 GPA (I was going through hard times freshman year: 3.1), really good at math; I'm taking AP Calc 2 senior year and I can do mental math really fast. ex: 2 to the 25 is 33,554,432, people say I'm a musical genius because I have perfect pitch, music-color synesthesia (long story short, I see colors when I hear sound) and made all-state jazz band, I tutor for math, I got a perfect 240 on the PSAT
I don't really have any extracurricular activities other than jazz studies and math tutor and I don't know if this is enough to major in either music or mathematics in UCLA
Will me being from PA affect admission?
Also, for people who went to or are going to UCLA right now...
What type of stuff do you do during free time out of class?(Other than partying because I don't drink)
Did you like UCLA?
