### find lim sin(x-1)/(x^2 + x - 2) as x approachs 1?

I got to

lim x->1 sin(x-1) / [ (x+2)(x-1) ]

Do I cancel the (x-1)? If so how do I finish this question

Prove:

Question 1:

1 - sin2x / cos2x = 1 - tanx / 1 + tanx

Question 2:

1 + sin2x / cosx + sinx = cos2x / cosx - sinx

I can't seem to prove my right side with my left.

Question: sin2x = 2tanx / 1 + tan²x

My left side:

sin2x

= sin(x+x)

= sinxcosx + cosxsinx

= 2sinxcosx

I don't know what to do with the right side once I get pass a certain point.

I'm stuck on two questions. Showing all the steps until final answer is apprieciated.

1. (secB + cscB)(sinB + cosB) = secBcscB + 2

2. (sinA + cscA)^2 + (cosA + secA)^2 = tan^2A + cot^2A + 7

Thanks!

I have two questions I'm stuck on.

1. Determine the value of k such that g(x) = 3x + k intersects the quadratic function f(x) = 2x^2 - 5x + 3 at exactly one point.

2. Determine the value(s) of k such that the linear function g(x) = 4x + k does not intersect the parabola f(x) = -3x^2 - x + 4.
