Our concrete sidewalk did not do well last winter. We just filled in the holes and put a thin top coat on. Admittedly the top coat is likely too thin. We would like this to last as long as possible. Should we look at a stain/sealer a concrete paint or one of the restore paints like Rustoleum Restore?
The sidewalk has an incline of about 10-15 degrees and will be in a heavy snow environment. It will have a moderate amount of traffic.1 AnswerOther - Home & Garden7 years ago
I want to conduct a poll, but here is my dilemma. I want to ask opinion on a policy change. The resulting policy is hopefully going to make most people's job easier, but for some it may make the job harder. There would not be any room for comprise. What if the results are 40% and 60% . Will the 40% be upset that they were not listed too or glad that at least they were able to have their voices heard?
The other option is to just say here is the new rule. It is put in place because it will make a majority of workers job easier.
I think I may have a no win situation where the goal is to make work easier for people.1 AnswerOther - Business & Finance7 years ago
I have a bidder who won the auction, but has not paid. They have a story about why and I just want the issue resolved so I am willing to let it go. What is the best way for both myself and the buyer to get out of the auction, without any negative marks for on payment?1 AnswerCredit7 years ago

I have a gas furnace hooked up to a digital thermostat. We recently did some electrical work around the home so we had the breakers turned on and off a few times. Now the Furnace will not turn on. We checked and the furnace is still getting power. When I turn up the thermostat the little fire light turns on, but the furnace does nothing.2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs9 years ago
I purchased stock over a year ago at $12.00/share. Last week I purchased more at $9.00 a share. Since then the stock has gone back up to $11.00 share. So if I sell my stock I would sell the oldest at a loss, even though my short term stock is up. Is this considered a wash where I cannot claim the loss on the original purchase?3 AnswersUnited States9 years ago

I am going to a spaghetti dinner where each of us is bringing something. The spaghetti will have different sauces for each person to choose from. It does not have to be fancy, but I want to bring a dessert that most people do not think of. Any suggestions even traditional ones would be welcome.8 AnswersEntertaining1 decade ago

I am recently married and I want myself and my wife to raise our credit score. I am thinking put some utilities in my name and some in hers. This way we both get good reporting to credit agencies. Should we both be listed on each account? Do I put her first one some and me first on others? Does anyone have better ideas? The mortgage is in my name.4 AnswersCredit1 decade ago
