  • Weird question about photographs of naked children?

Pedos, step out, please. Everyone else, I've got your attention.

I do insurance reconstruction, so I'm in peoples houses every day. I was in a house today and walked through the kitchen. On the wall was a homemade picture frame that spelled out FAMILY, with each letter being a place to put a picture. In the A picture frame was a photo of a 5 or 6 year old girl, posing (I assume) on her stomach BUCK NAKED, *** in the air for all to see.

I have pictures of my own kids when they were 6 months, 9 months, whatever, in the same positions (up on their elbows, baby asses in full glory, etc), but this girl is clearly 5,6,7 years old. I found that picture very disturbing. Who the hell puts that kind of picture up in the kitchen? All of the other pictures for the other letters were completely appropriate; teen aged girls with horses (clothed

), older man (grandfather) at picnic, etc.

Am I being overly sensitive because I have kids, or what? To me, it looked like a porno thumbnail, but with a little kid in the picture (ok, i'm a widower, I look at porn, sometimes, but that's what the girl and pose looks like, don't judge me). The wife is a bleached blonde, big busted, narcissist. She's getting older and wider, so is she living vicariously? Would anyone else out there put that kind of picture in your kitchen?

  • Serious sex question- for women?

During oral, assuming you like oral, do you like a sucking action? I know guys do, so we do it to women, but does it have the effect that we think it does? I'm being serious, because you can't ever ask the woman that you're with; she'll never tell what she really likes. It is what I do, but I always wonder if it works the same on you all as it does on men.

I put it in this category so that I might get serious answers.

  • Buddhists: Is Buddhism a religion or a philosophy?

Just watched 'The Buddha' on PBS. Apparently, I've been a Buddhist all my life. I was raised a Catholic, but never believed the Bible, the Trinity, or any other Christian doctrine or dogma. I've always sought the 'middle of the road', but I haven't been able to find peace or balance between desire and dissatisfaction. While I do believe in God, I don't believe in religion. I believe that the Gospel is written in the Universe, our DNA, and an anthill. I don't see God in church on Sundays, but in the leaves of a tree, a beautiful Spring day, or the smiling eyes of a pretty girl.

Am I on the path or just a daydreamer? Does Buddhism offer me any peace, or is it just another religion? I don't need religion, I need to be closer to God or at, at peace with where I am.

  • Real estate foreclosure question?

My wife and I bought a double wide trailer and 5 1/2 acres of land in NE Tenn in 2000. Since then, we've planted five peach trees, 6 blueberry bushes, grape vines, apple trees, apricots, made planting beds, and a 40x20 ft garden. I've also built a 36x21 ft barn with 12ft shed roofs on both sides, a 6x9 lawnmower shed, and a walk-in chicken coop. Our land borders a spring-fed creek and has many trees, including mature walnut trees.

My wife passed away on May 21st. We have two disabled children. I haven't worked in three months. The last mortgage payment was made in June. My house is so far out in the country that it takes 8 minutes to get to the four-lane before even heading anywhere. I am 20 minutes from the nearest grocery store; 30 minutes from the nearest town (Wal*mart, Lowe's, etc).

I have already signed a lease on an apartment that is minutes from my sister in law and work. My house would need lots of work to make it sell-able and I don't have the money. Should I try for a loan modification and try to rent it out or just walk away?

My mortgage is currently $730 a month. There is no way I could rent it for that. At best, I might get $400/ month. Should I walk away or try to get a lower mortgage payment and keep it?'

  • Did the rule of possessive change while I wasn't looking?

My Yahoo! homepage had a headline that read, "'last excorcism" actress's....'. Isn't the rule of possession for a word that ends in s to just use an apostrpohe? Actress'. James' hat, Congress' laws, etc.

If my assertion is right and the author and editor are wrong, then why am I still banging nails at 40 something and these people are composing text for a site like Yahoo!? I'm not an English major, I'm a carpenter. I learned that rule in 4th grade.

  • My deleted answer has just been restored.?

I've had dozens of answers deleted and even had my account suspended twice before for telling people like it is. Most of my deleted answers used insults to show why people can't sue someone for insulting them. Every single appeal has been denied, until today.

Is Yahoo! now actually reading appeals and making judgments based on intent, or is this a fluke? I've been doing this for years and have appealed dozens of violations that were no different than this one that was restored. Is Yahoo! growing up or did I just get lucky this time?

  • Girls who masturbate, please answer?

Serious question, believe it or not. I just saw some porno vids of girls masturbating (my friend showed me them, really, he's a porn nut). Anyway, all these girls were doing it from the outside; they rarely went in. They were working on 'it' like jackhammers. Little circles going a million miles an hour.

I'm a widower who was married for 20 years. If I did that to my wife, she would have told me to knock it off because I was wearing 'it' out. I was an expert at getting her off with my fingers, but I never would have considered working that spot like these girls are doing. Is that really the way girls get off by themselves or is that just an act for the web cam?

I always did it inside and slow. She got off on it. She would go crazy and mount me forcefully to get the full effect. It drove her crazy. If I did to her what these girls are doing to themselves, she would have smacked me for abusing it.

I'm in a debate with the guy that showed it to me; he thinks that's what girls like. Ninety miles an hour on the clitoris, never penetrating. I think he watches too much porn. I think girls like to be massaged and penetrated gently. He thinks I'm a puss. I just feel like he wants to abuse it.

Who's right, girls. Slow, gentle pressure or mile a minute little circles from the outside.

  • Is someome collecting unemployment cashing in on insurance or collecting welfare?

I've heard lots of people saying that unemployment benefits are tantamount to collecting welfare. Is it really?

Unemployment benefits are paid by employers every week as a part of employee wages. Its an insurance program, just like auto insurance, life insurance, health insurance. If the employer weren't paying into this fund, then they could pay the employee that much more in hourly wage.

If I pay $500/ year, or whatever, for auto insurance, am I collecting welfare when I have a wreck? How is one welfare and the other not? Please explain.

  • Anyone ever use eHarmony,, etc?

I'm recently widowed. My wife died on May 21, 2010. I'm not really looking for dates right now, but eventually I need to find someone. Anyone had any luck with this kind of dating?

I was married for 20 years. I met my wife the old-fashioned way, at work. I've always considered online dating kind of creepy. My brother met his wife online, but I wonder. Anyone ever had positive results from that kind of 'hook up'?

    What are your experiences?

  • What is a site where I can talk to single, 35 + women.?

My wife died recently and I'd just like to talk to other women. I thought about Eharmony and such, but I'm not really looking for a date. I'd like to date someone, eventually, but right now, I have no contact with adults. I have no friends or family, 2 disabled children, live in the middle of nowhere, etc. Any sites you can think of would be appreciated.

  • Am I wrong to think like this?

My wife died on May 21st. We have 2 disabled kids, 14 and 16. The 16 year old is autistic and still wears diapers. My home is in the middle of nowhere in NE Tenn. I can barely see the house across the street. I haven't worked since she died because I can't get anyone to watch the kids (they are like three year olds, mentally).

I have been sitting at home for over a month, fixing meals, doing laundry, washing dishes, etc. I am already fantasizing about meeting someone else and getting remarried. I tear up every day for losing my wife. She was my best friend for 20 years. I have no family or friends; no one has come to see me in weeks. I'm dying, here.

I plan to live in my house until it gets foreclosed and then move to the city, where I might have neighbors. I'm hoping that I can then meet someone and start all over again. I feel guilty about this, but I have to face reality.

Renaee was sick for ten years or more. She lived longer than she had a right to expect to. We talked many times about what she wanted after her death, but I feel guilty for wanting to move on so quickly. I am desperate, here. Would she understand? Am I being a cold-hearted bastard?

  • Is Helen Thomas right?

Most of the Jews in Israel today have ancestors that migrated to Europe a thousand years ago. Most Israelis today are direct descendants of European Jews that migrated after WWII. Isn't their claim to Israel the same as an Irish family from Boston going back to Ireland and taking land from non-Irish landowners? How is it different?

It doesn't matter how Jews were treated by the Nazis; that can't be considered. Their ancestors willingly moved to Poland, Germany, etc. Jews were not run out of Israel by Muslims. They were allowed to live, prosper, and practice for a millennia under the Muslims.

Does right or wrong matter, or do non-Muslims hate so much that the ends justify the means? Evangelicals, Baptists, and Fundamentalists remember that your parents and grandparents hated Jews. They were lynched alongside Catholics and blacks. Today, they can do no wrong.

  • Too soon to date anyone else?

My wife died on May 21. We were together for 20 years. She was my best friend. She was sick for a long time. I was a very lucky man to have known her. I know that it is too soon to date anyone, but I need someone to talk to. My wife has been dying for the last five years, so while it hurts tremendously, I'd like some other females to talk to. Her sister is a great comfort to me, but she is my sister, also. I need to move on, eventually. For now, I just need people to talk to. Anyone know of a site where I can talk to women in similar situations?

  • How is Islam different than christianity?

Both are convert or die religions (conquistadors, crusades, Inquisitions). How are Christian terrors any different than Islamic terrors, today? Seriously, are we any better than they are?

  • Why do kids need computers and such?

The emphasis, today, is on giving every child a laptop. This is the strategy to combat illiteracy. I graduated third grade in 1974. My school was built in 1865. I learned to read and write. Literacy is free; it doesn't cost anything but time and effort. Albert Einstein went to public schools and never had access to laptops . Why do we emphasize technology over education?

  • 17 kids and counting?

I watched this show for the first time the other day. They were at a religious museum. The museum told these little kids that the Earth was 6,000 years old, men and dinosaurs lived at the same time, etc. These kids were ecstatic to hear these things, because that's what the parents teach them. It was very disturbing to see how glassy-eyed they were. Their interviews looked like a Jim Jones gathering. Do Christian parents really believe what they are telling their kids? Watching the footage makes me want to lock up the parents and deprogram the kids.

  • My wife died today, would you help?

We weren't religious, didn't go to church, etc. I have two disabled children (teenagers that are like 3 year olds). My wife and I were together for 20 years. She was my best friend. She has been sick for ten years or more, so we don't have any friends, at all. We were alone on a 5 1/2 acre island, surrounded by cows. We don't know one single person here, except the guys i work with. I work in construction, so i make very little money.

My wife has spent the last five years on a feeding tube. She has a hospital bed in the living room. She died in her sleep about 12 hours ago. I am contemplating losing my house, putting my kids in the care of the state (foster care), etc.

Because my wife and I were not Christians (although we do believe in God), would it be wrong to appeal to churches for financial help? We have lived from paycheck to paycheck for many years because of her illness and the kids' disabilities. The funeral home that came to get her body said it costs $1,700 just to cremate her. If I had that kind of money I would use it for my kids, who are alive, not someone who is dead. Should i appeal to churches even though I am not a Christian and don't believe in the Bible?

    What would your church do?

  • mazda pick up front end vibration?

I have a 1999 Mazda B4000 4x4 P/U. Somewhere in the front end (motor, front drive shaft, ?) the truck vibrates. I know it's not the wheels or tires b/c the vibration stops immediately when I let off the gas and starts up as soon as I hit the gas again. At low speeds, it's not that noticeable, but from 55 to 65 it's intolerable. The change in the console jingles. It sounds like B-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R. It feels like I'm driving on the rumble strip on the side of the highway. From 65 to 70 it mellows back out again to a tolerable M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M-M, but still annoying. By 75, it's back to the rumble strip. When I shift into drive or reverse, it clangs one time. When accelerating from a stop, it goes ting-ting-ting-ting..... It makes no noise or vibration when I rev the enging in Park or when I hold the brake and rev the engine in Drive. Acceleration is fine, either on flat ground or going up hill. Is is the front drive shaft, transfercase, what else might it be?
