If all liberals are socialists, by the same logic, all conservatives would be Anarchists? Correct? If I had to classify myself, I'd say I'm libertarian. Not completely, but I think people should have as much individual freedom as possible to maintain a well-run country and that almost all business should be privately controlled. I do think there should be some regulation on business, but overall I feel Capitalism has been the world's most successful economic system. That said, calling a Liberal a socialist just doesn't make sense. It's simply a buzz word. Socialism is the extreme left, liberals are on the left, that does not make them socialists. It also makes no sense to call a Conservative an Anarchist; anarchists are the extreme right, conservative are on the right, that does not make them anarchists. So, why are liberals "Socialists," but conservatives not "Anarchists?"
