There is one hall that did not undergo this change and I don't have the issue like I seem to in the areas with the LED lighting. I also don't have this problem in places like stores, not equipped with LED lighting. PLEASE don't simply answer to have your vision checked, as I have, about a month ago. I do have glasses that I wear as needed (the prescription is only for the left eye, no correction in the right). I'm not required to wear lenses for driving. There was no change to my vision in my yearly check up. So why do I seem to be having issues in this lighting? Thanks

He also supposedly immigrated from Norway but I can find no record of his immigration (other that what is claimed on the census), his immigration year changed from 1878 to 1874 between the 1900 and 1920 census. No information was recorded for the 1910 census regarding his immigration date. I also find it puzzling that in the 1900 census under naturalization, it says papers are filed and in 1920, they are still listed as filed. I can find nothing about this ancestor between 1874/78 and 1900, no census records. He first shows up as the son-in-law in my daughter's great x4 grandfather, the last record I can locate is the 1920 census where he is listed as the father-in-law, nothing regarding his death either. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have tried different spellings of the surname. His name is Carl Lee, born approx 1864, immigrated 1874 or 1878. First showed up 1900 federal census in Tomah (I think thats correct) Wisconsin, living with his wife Rocelia, Roselia, Celia, St. Claire (Sinclair), at his father-in-law's home; Franklin Sinclair. Rocelia's mother's name was Medora Solles (if I remember correctly)

I believe they divorced 71-72 My question is if it's possible that somehow the birth certificate was filled out with my parents as the birth parents. My mother's sister was a raging alcoholic and supposedly very abusive to her son. My gut always told me I didn't really fit. Recently when I talked to some relatives, (on my dad's side). In March 2013 another company was hired, (one I felt the insurance company pushed onto me but that's another question for another day). The second company promised to have the work completed by July 31, 2013. Despite the contract being signed in March, work did not begin until mid may. There would be someone there for a day or 2 and then I wouldn't see any activity for several more days. The new mechanicals of the house seem ok (electrical, furnace, plumbing etc) but the cosmetics leave a lot to be desired. For example, when painting the walls, they did not bother to patch any small flaws, just painted over it. Two of the bedrooms needed to have the hard wood floors replaced. First they tried to just do a subfloor and asked me to pick out carpet. I did make them do the floors, however I specifically told them that the floors were red oak and be sure to match and they put in white oak. The above listed is relatively minor , however this is where the breach I believe lies. A week prior to completion date, the hard wood floors were not yet sanded and refinished. All of the basement windows and front bay window were still boarded up. I contacted the insurance company concerned that it would not be done prior to the July 31 move in date. My adjuster did not return any of my calls or emails.

We have had the mortgage since 2003. A special escrow account was created to pay the contractors. My husband has been uncooperative, to say the least with the house fire. He wouldn't sign checks, he wouldn't allow his POA to do so either. I had been POA, which he revoked an gave to his Mother. I finally filed for divorce in 2013 to force his cooperation. Today I contacted our mortgage holder to find out when the checks to the contractor would be released. I was told that my incarcerated husband sent a letter in January, instructing the Bank not release any funds from the special escrow account except from a court order or if his divorce attorney gave instructions to do so. The bank says they are following these instructions. I asked if they had anything else but his instructions, such as a court order. I was told no but because he is the primary borrower and I the co-borrower, the bank does what he says. Basically, I was told because he is listed first on the mortgage, he is considered the primary borrower and has more rights and say-so than me, the co borrower, despite the fact I have been paying on this mortgage by myself, out of my checking account.

When I was 10 ish, I asked my Mother what my name would have been, had I been a boy. I assumed another JP name. My Mother seemed caught off guard when asked the question and said I was going to be called Todd…and no middle name. F She also made a point of saying that had my brother not died, I wouldn't be here. At the time I assumed she meant I wouldn't exist. I also wondered if I was possibly switched. My Mother has always treated me as the the red headed step child. Wondering if she possibly figured it out and never said anything. Which is something she would do. How would one go about figuring out if they were adopted or switched?

I had a house fire almost a year ago. I have replacement value for my belongings. The insurance company first gave me a check for the depreciated amount. I purchase the item, submit the receipt and they send me the difference. Due to circumstances beyond my control I have been unable to replace most of my belongings and I stand to lose several thousand dollars. I have one year to buy and submit the receipts to the insurance company. We stayed in a hotel for 4 months, I wasn't able to keep items there, then we stayed in a house rented by the insurance company for another 5 months. But I was responsible for moving myself and wouldn't be able to move a lot of stuff. The first contractor went out of business abruptly, causing all kinds of issues with the mortgage holder refusing to release the funds to another contractor to fix my house because the first contractor was listed as the lien holder. To top it all off, my husband refused to cooperate, I finally had to file for divorce and force him to cooperate. I finally am able to move back in, purchase major appliances, beds etc. And the judge in the divorce case made me set aside 25k of the depreciated payment, despite my explaining that I was on a time crunch. So finally, my question: I asked the insurance company if I could have an extension of 1-3 months to purchase and submit the receipts so I can recover the depreciation. They said no. I have one year, that's it, no ifs ands or buts. They were well aware of the situations. Can I appeal that decision? If so, how?

He went to prison in 2009. I have been the sole provider for my children since 2009. He was arrested in 2008 and lost most of his clients therefore the household expenses all fell on me. We have owned a house since 2000, which while he was building his business, my income paid the mortgage. He did start an IRA but that was used to pay his legal fees. I have a State funded pension, since 2000. Recently we had a house fire, which displaced me and my children. We have insurance, however he is refusing to sign checks. His mother is his POA and she is stonewalling me as well. I used to be his POA but he claims he revoked it, though I was never informed of the revocation. The house is deeded "and" as well as the insurance. I fear that my kids and I will soon be homeless because of his games. Finally my question: Is it possible to protect my house and pension? Is it possible to have a court order him and/or his POA to cooperate with signing the insurance checks. Does anyone have suggestions how to deal with this issue? I should have divorced him long ago, as he was violent towards me for most of the marriage and now my children are telling me stories of physical abuse by him. I especially feel guilty about my children being abused, as I should have known.
