  • Starting over?

2.35 gpa two years into college and my parents want me to start over by going to a community college and then transferring from the community college to a new institution (closer to home so I can be "monitored") so that medical schools will not have any record of my enrollment or my gpa at the first institution. Is that really even allowed? Doubtfully, and I will likely get expelled from the second university if they find out, after I have gotten in, for withholding the former universities information, granted this scheme even pans out. On top of that what stops the medical schools from figuring out the aforementioned information? I really messed up that first year and had a really low gpa, my last two semesters were a big step up from the first year but the hole was too deep; it would take two more semesters to bring my gpa back to a 3.0, never mind medical school standard.I have considered giving up medical school but honestly my father is against that idea. I acknowledge that this entire situation arouse out of my own stupidity and I don't really deserve help but what should I do?

  • I never got teacher evaluations and its the winter break. Is there anything I can do?

All my colleges require teacher recommendations and I was unable to ask them. Is it possible for me to do the rest of the application and then hand in the teacher recommendations after the deadline?

  • SAT and ACT comparison, I am unsure which to send to colleges?

So I got over 700 in math(can't remember the highest one right now), 620 in writing and 550 in reading on my SAT

And I got 28 in Math, 29 in Reading, 25 in Science, and 23 in English on my ACT.

So my question is, which is better? Do colleges care about my science and English on my ACT or just math and Reading. If they do only care about math and reading does that change my composite or no?

  • Why live when there is nothing worth dying for?

Do not slam my question, I am just curious and want an answer to my question, I know the answer, to the best of my ability and I know that the answer is within the question and the question itself is somewhat of a paradox although I did not intend for that when I thought of it. I just want to see what others think of my question and what they can interpret from it, also can some one answer this: Is it normal for me to think about these kinds of things at 14?

Do not talk about religion AT ALL.
