Is there a good stock ticker symbol for this? Or is it better to buy physical gold? Where could I buy physical gold? Or does it really matter that much? I thank anyone and everyone for info and help!3 AnswersInvesting3 months ago
Any advice or tips would be appreciated. Maybe a day trip to Duluth. Can you see the northern lights from Duluth in summer?2 AnswersOther - United States3 months ago
In the owner's manual, it mentions a choice of two different options: one at 3,500 miles and another at 7,500 miles. These are based on driving conditions. I'm in the Chicago area and would think that I would be fine for 7,500 miles. The only other thing I could think about would be to split the difference and get synthetic oil changes every 5K miles. What do you recommend?13 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs11 months ago
The doctors said they didn't know what it was and to "wait it out." But it's been almost two months. There is little pain, but it does seem for lack of a better word, weird and a discomfort.4 AnswersPain & Pain Management2 years ago
My mother passed away last year, and I still have not received anything. Would anyone know how this works? Thanks.9 AnswersPersonal Finance3 years ago
A friend has all of the materials, and all I want to do is take the test. Surely, some programs have an option like this. I would hope for it to be online. Thanks for any and all help!3 AnswersTeaching9 years ago
Hello! I have some questions concerning availability for university teachers. It is my understanding that universities list post-Baccalaureate degrees as requirements for job placement, but I have heard stories of many universities having only four-year degrees. Is it true that the government is cracking down at universities and forcing requirements to be MAs? If not, what advice or tips could you give me if I want to gain employment at a university?
Here is some information about my situation: I work at a hagwon run by a very eccentric boss, who doesn’t give recommendation letters to anyone. I finish the job in early May, but before then, I would like to begin submitting applications for the beginning of the next university semester, around September.
My degree was in marketing (not English) and that my 24 years of life may seem relatively young. However, I have worked in the editorial field and understand the essentials of writing. I went to a good university, one that most people have heard of.
I do not have any certification and am clueless about TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, DELTA, etc. As ambitious as I am, I would like to take one of these courses online before my contract finishes. Which would be most beneficial? Which is most convenient, as in being wholly online?
Are there any additional tips that could help my case when I apply? An idea I have is submitting a cover letter in English, as well as a Korean translation of one (although I speak minimal Korean). Would creating a website be worthwhile?
I know I’m getting ahead of myself now. What is the interview process like?
I thank you in advance for any responses. This site is very helpful with so many aspects of life here.2 AnswersHigher Education (University +)9 years ago

Obviously, Korea has many foreign English teachers. I am wondering if there are any creative venues for these teachers to showcase their writing, music or art. I am in Daegu, so that probably doesn't help my cause much.1 AnswerKorea10 years ago
