  • Translation Assistance Please:?

Assistance Please: The term "Coup de' grace (for business)" French origin/English derivative has no known Portugese translation (in the business setting), at least nothing I can find or recall. Does anybody have skill with Potugese comprehension. I would be able to interpret a coherent English disambiguation to Potugese and visa-versa . I've also tried French to Portugese and I still could not find any Interpretation. Any disambiguation would be satisfactory...Thanks in advance

  • Involuntary Finger Tapping, Doctor, Nurse or afflicted person opinion needed.?

I hope someone can help me with this. It's really not troubling me, however, it's recently started to get my attention. A few months back I began to notice the index finger on my left hand tap while I was at rest. I tap tables, arms of chairs, just about everything my hand is resting on, although, it usually happens randomly and without my knowledge. The tapping lasts for approx. 10 or more seconds and occurs at odd frequency (episodes seem to occur every 5 minutes lasting for at least 10 seconds). When I am aware of the tapping, I manage to be able to stop it, however, I seem to feel more comfortable allowing it to continue. I don't seem to have any type of abnormal body tics or other involuntary jerky movements; at least none that I am aware of. I do however make unusual, involuntary sounds (like moaning or grunting on occasion) but only if I am aware of those sounds taking place.

I found some explanations on the internet, however no cause of the following were found. Akathisia and Bradyphrenia are right on target. I have all the symptoms. but I have no idea if that is actually the diagnosis.

Here is what concerns me. I was a caregiver for an elderly man a few years back who was diabetic with Parkinson's Disease. I had to administer his insulin injections twice a day. Well, one day after giving him a shot, I accidentally stuck myself with the used syringe.

I'm wondering if I may have contracted his Illness or possibly may be showing signs of early stage Parkinson's or perhaps it's something else?

    Thank you in advance

  • What is the space between black and white, up and down, etc?

I know most of you will say "it's a grey area" however, I think even the gray area has to end at some point. Sort of like is the glass half full or half empty. Is there a scientific name for that and perhaps a formula?

  • Would you be willing to bet your life on the existence of GOD?

I'm curious about non-believers. If you knew you were going to die in the next few minutes, would you pray to GOD and if so, what would you pray for?

  • Does GOD come to us before we begin to die?

Does GOD come to us before we begin to die?

A few months ago a friend of mine became sick, but got well quickly-(summer cold). He has never been religious. Anyway, soon after he got well he's been saying that he is going to die and that GOD is calling on him. He's been going to a doctor on a regular basis but they can't find anything wrong with him. His behavior since he got sick has dramatically changed. He seems to be very content with the thought that he is going to die. Matter of fact he's done a complete 180, on a daily basis he makes sure that he performs an act of kindness for somebody. He praises GOD and Jesus at every chance he gets. He still does not go to church but he's been preaching a lot about how he is being drawn towards the Holy. I don't understand what's happening to him. Anyone have an explanation?

Thank you and Praise the Lord!

  • Was I correct on Thessalonians 5:23?

A friend of mine said that "Mister Rogers used to say God loves you just the way you are. Whether or not you're religious, it's a thought to ponder" this was her thoughts on national coming out day for Gay's and Lesbians. I had replied "Mister Rogers was a fine man but not always right and that she should read Thessalonians 5:23 - Does anyone know if I provided her the proper scripture of Thessalonians 5:23

  • Asked to leave hospital Against Medical Advise?

Why would an Emergency Room Doctor ask someone to sign themselves out of the hospital Against Medical Advise?

My Daughter went to the ER for some chest pain, after hours of waiting for test results the doctor came to her and said she could follow up with her family doctor and to also Against Medical Advise herself. She was also asked if she wanted to stay but left the next morning and signed an AMA form...She was a perfect patient and I cant fathom why he would ask her to leave without some sort of diagnoses.

    Any Ideas?

  • Need a Doctors opinion?

On August third 2011, I suddenly woke with mild pain in my right ear along with a feeling of fullness or fluid with ringing. Within a day I developed cold symptoms, soar throat, mild nasal congestion and mild cough. In addition, I also seemed to be suffering anxiety and paranoia. I have a history of high blood pressure which really was not under control. My doctor prescribed new medicine, Listenapril . Last blood pressure reading was 120/80, even though that is good, I know my BP still fluctuates often- It's also important to mention that I have bad teeth, broken, some decayed and probably some minor gum disease. This is not from poor dental hygiene but seems to be the result of something else. When I went to see my doctor he had ordered blood tests and the results indicated a high white blood cell count. He asked that I go see a hematologist which I have no done yet. I was told by his staff to wait a couple weeks before going to see a hematologist since the High White Blood cell count could be the result of a bad summer cold. After a month, the doctor seemed irritated that I didn't go to the hematologist...I assumed it was a mis-communication between himself and his staff. I will be going this week, though.

Now, 6 weeks later, I still have that pain in my ear with the same feeling of fullness but there is also a lot less ringing, almost non-existent ringing. I'm still not sleeping right. waking up often with the same feeling of anxiety and scared paranoia. I seem to always be in a daze and extremely fatigued with malaise. I can still feel a little bit of sore throat on occasion too. I think the anxiety is caused by the fear of not knowing what is going on.

I'm probably considered obese, 6 foot 250 pounds at 51 years old ..I'm also being treated for high cholesterol. I recently changed my diet to low fat, low sodium etc and exercising a little at a time - I'm also a one pack a day smoker. I've lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks and I think I could do more.

Anybody give me an idea of what may be going on with me and why doctor wants me to see a hemotologist..?
