While we were sitting in his car we noticed a cop turn on his lights and pull up next to a car across the park. We just assumed they were checking what they were doing because it was so late (around 11:30 pm). We thought about leaving but decided not to because we weren't doing anything wrong. After a few minutes we saw the cars come toward us and turn on their spotlights, we gave them our information and answered their questions, and they walked back to their car. We sat there and waited thinking they were checking our information, and that they might tell us we had to leave the park. Then one officer came back Nd handed my bf an infraction. He told us it was a ticket because the park closes at 10, and we had to pay $136 by the date on the ticket. I have lived by that park for 5 years now and never knew it closed at 10, and I certainly never knew you could get a $136 ticket for being there after that time. In addition, the entrance we used did not have a sign stating when the park closed... We even checked as we were leaving to be sure. We decided to plead not guilty on the ticket, because we did not see any signs that would tell us the park is closed. I was checking infraction tickets online and read that you have the option to plead not guilty through the mail (which we already planned on doing), as well as an option thT let's you submit all the information to argue your case through the mail. I am wondering if anyone knows if this is an option in Connecticut, and if so, how would I go about letting them know that I want to submit my case by mail? Any information you can give would be very appreciated, thanks in advance.

Anyway, because of this he has offered to pay me $300 per week, for child support as long as i dont go through the courts. I am not worried about him paying me, i know he just doesnt want the money to be taken directly out of his check. What I am worried about is that I will need to find an apartment in a few months and i dont know if i will be able to, if I dont have a documented source of income. do i have to file for child support either way, or can i just write out an agreement with him? I have tried finding out how it works, but i cant seem to find anything on this particular problem. I have obviously never had to deal with this before, so any information you have is greatly appreciated.

I am 37 weeks with my second child that is supposedly a boy. and one of the big issues with boys is circumcision. because i am obviously female, and our first child was a girl, this is the first time i have had to even consider this question. Originally i was not going to have it done because my fiance is not circumcised, of course we don't walk around naked... but at least during potty training he will be seeing his dad's penis and i thought that it would be easier not to have to explain why his looks different. (and i know from my 2 year old daughter that they do notice things like that even when they are little) I have asked my fiance, since he has more experience but he doesn't have a preference about it. His mother is very against it though, so i was reading more about it. apparently being circumcised lessens the risk of cancer of the penis, UTI, and STDs. even though it was a small risk i am still worried about it, which i am sure is just a parent thing, but i am still curious... did you have your son circumcised? why or why not? do you wish you could go back and change your mind? in your opinion, what are the pros or cons of each? Thanks in advance!

I know that at my postpartum my ob will ask me about birth control, with my daughter I took the pill. it was a pain in the butt and i forgot most of the time, i ended up just using condoms, or pull out instead (which, i swear, is not how we got pregnant this time, lol). but i want something that will put me more at ease so i have been thinking about either an IUD or the one that you put in your arm. i am just worried that something might go wrong with it. also i only have state health insurance right now, and if that ends, how will i have the device removed? should i just continue on the pill, or try some other form of birth control? what types of birth control have you taken, and what was your expierence with it?

Sebastian Patrick-Rene Joyce Joyce is the last name, and we decided to hyphenate the middle name because we wanted to honor two people, my mom whose first name is Patricia (Patrick was the closest I could get... if have any suggestions, let me know) and my grandpa's middle name is Rene, which is french and pronounced like Renny. Our daughter's name is Rhianna, but everyone calls her Anna, we thought Seb and Anna sounded really cute together. so what do you think? Thanks!

He wanted the tattoo on the left side of his chest and he wanted it to be the army values (Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, Personal Courage) but since that would be kind of long he was going to get them in chinese characters. I personally think that would be so stupid, he is not chinese so the only way that ties into the tattoo is to make it smaller. I just think there has to be a better way to do the tattoo, one that will make it smaller and still make sense with the rest of the tattoo. what do you think of his original idea, getting the army values done in chinese characters? and what are some good ideas for an army tattoo using the 7 values? I also posted this in tattoos, but i thought this would be a good catagory to try as well, Thanks in advance!

I even checked on a few sites and they say that they do start moving around 7-8 weeks, but most moms dont feel it until around 16 weeks. I know it can be earlier with a second baby, but i am also not the skinnest person ever and i read that that can make it take longer to feel the movement as well. But i also know what gas feels like and that definetly wasnt it. I am not sure if i am imagining it, or if it possible to feel it this early... oh and does that also mean this kid is going to be huge, lol? (just thought of that, and its a very scary revelation). When did all you moms (or if you are a guy, when did your significant other...) feel that first kick? was it your first or second, etc? And did you notice it earlier with a second or third (etc) child?

She lives about 20-30 minutes away, and I am not worried about my daughter being with my sister but I am a little worried about her going to this person's house that I have never met. My sister asked if she could take her, and I said that I would be more comfortable with it if I went with her. She told me that it would be wierd for her to take me to her friends house. I was like, well you want you take my daughter there. And she said that it was a playdate, but I just keep thinking that it isn't wierd to take someone elses kid to your friend's house for a playdate, but it is wierd if I go along? My daughter has never really been away from me for very long, and if she is my mom is watching her. I am comfortable with my mom watching her, I know that she is safe. I trust my sister, but she is not always that smart about things, and the though of her taking her to hang out with this person I have never met just freaks me out. I just am wondering if I am being too over protective of her, or if my sister is asking too much.

I found a few on my daughter already, and the pictures i have seen of flea bites look similar to the ones i have. the only problem is that i have only seen 3 fleas, (and they were all on my daughter), and i live with her, my fiancee and a roommate, yet i am the only one that has been bitten. So i have been reading about how to get rid of fleas, but it keeps saying how to treat an infested area in the home. but i dont know where they are. in that case is it best to just treat everywhere, or what? oh, i also dont have any pets, so i dont even know where they came from!
