I have to write about the 5senses
A Day With Flutter
Smell- There is the initial smell of baby powder and lavender, but then another smell
emerges. It’s a smell that is indescribable. It gives me a sense of peace and belonging. When I
hug her I know that she is mine and will always be mine. It’s as if it was always meant to be.
Touch-When flutter touches me it feels like I’m being touched by an angel, the love and
warmth radiating from her finger tips is almost unbearable. When she pats me on the arm trying
to get my attention it leaves a warm burning feeling that goes beneath the surface of my skin, it
feels as if I have her handprints all over my soul.
Sound- The pitter patter of her little feet across the hardwood floor sounds like the
footsteps of a fairy, frolicking around a meadow. Her voice rings like the melodies sung by
faeries. Her words are always honest and true, to young to lie. Society hasn’t polluted her
innocence yet. When she comes running calling “momma”, it seems like a title given to me by
someone of great importance.
Sight- When I look at her it’s like seeing an angel, the most beautiful angel created just
for me. She possesses a smile that warms your soul, beautiful brown eyes that can look right
through u; olive brown skin that is so smooth u would think it was painted. It takes your breath
away when the sun shines on her, her brown hair appears to glow as if she were wearing a
Taste- Sharing a snack with Flutter is one of the most enjoyable parts of my day. She
loves to share and is always willing to try anything u give her. My favorite thing to watch her eat
is an oreo cookie. She twist it open and licks the cream off while getting chocolate allover her
face. After she is sure the got all the cream off she proceeds to squish her cookies back together
in an attempt to make her cream magically appear again. When she figures out that isn’t working
she sticks out her little chocolate covered hand still holding the cookie and says “bite bite”. Its so
adorable i just can’t resist, so i let her feed me a slightly mushy cookie that is the best cookie I
have ever tasted. I get the satisfaction of knowing my daughter is learning to share.
Introduction- On February 27, 2008 I was blessed with a beautiful daughter named
Flutterby Nigh Burchfield. She changed my life in so many ways it would take a life time to tell
them all. A single day with her can change a person’s view on life. She has such a pure and
innocent soul, she isn’t afraid to speak her mind, and she never has bad intentions. I wish
everyone could have the opportunity to spend an afternoon with a creation as amazing as Flutter.
Conclusion- There is no way to describe how enlightening a day with Flutter can really
be. I can’t even remember my life b4 I had her. It’s as if nothing matters anymore except Flutter,
I only exist to love and cherish her. Every day I thank God for the opportunity to not only know
such amazing little creation, but to also be raising her, knowing that she is mine
