  • Can you help identify this OTF knife?

was at a local flea market and came across a knife I wanted. I have always wanted an out-the-front knife and this one was just ridiculous. The seller said it was a Robbie Dalton which didn't mean anything to me. The thing is huge and when I got home I tried to find it online. I can only find a 3" one and not the size I have. Is this knife an impostor? Is it a special edition? Any idea on a value?

It appears to be a large version of an M6 if its genuine.

This knife is *not* illegal to own where I live though it would be if I carried it. It just hangs out in a drawer at my house and is perfectly legal in doing so. The handle has *no* markings whatsoever; I hope the picture captured all the detail on the blade. Any help or more information is appreciated. I gave $175 for the knife.

I asked this question in Hobbies and Crafts forum first and recieved no answers after several hours. If you feel it doesn't belong in hunting, rest assured that I am asking here only because a lot of folks who hunt are also into knives.

  • A limit on ammunition or firearm quantity a person can own?

Is there a limit specified by the federal government? My state is Oklahoma if anyone feels like digging up state info. Has there been any law passed on how many total firearms an individual can own? Also, is there a limit on how much ammunition an individual can possess? I've seen people here make comments that vary pretty widely. I, myself, never heard of a limit in either case so I'm curious.

    Thanks for any response.

  • What is it about CCI Mini-Mag .22 LR shells?

Has anybody come across a gun that wouldn't shoot them? They seem to be a cure-all for any .22 pistol or rifle that is finicky about ammunition.

By the way, they are one of a very few (Remington Yellow Jackets also work) rounds that I've found that work in the new AR-15-style .22's coming out. Tested 12 different makes of .22 shells in both a S&W AR-15 .22 and a Colt AR-15 .22 . These are not conversion kit guns, they're actually just .22 rifles that wouldn't shoot anything but CCI Mini-mag and Remington Yellow Jackets.

As well, that was the answer for breaking in a Walther P-22 and Sig Mosquito. No other rounds function or cycle even half as well.

They're not the hottest rounds on the market (1260fps for the CCI).. is it bullet head shape or something else?

  • This Top Contributor business..?

What can I do to be rid of it? I don't want any more weight or consideration of my answers because I have a bright orange tag under my name. I've been here for 10 days now and haven't even given 150 answers yet. Do I just need to stop posting and wait for it to go away? I'm posting this to hunting because that's the only place people have seen me and the only thing I'm interested in on this site.

  • LCD TV powered down.. help please?

My brother was playing a video game on my Philips 42" LCD television (model 42PFL5432D) when it shut itself off. If you use the remote to turn it off, it will have a red standby light. If you press the button it will turn completely off.

This turned completely off by itself. Any suggestions? The TV is less than 2 years old, but more than 1. It's not covered by any warranty. Is it completely dead? Is there a fuse I can find and replace somewhere? Thanks in advance for any helpful answers.

  • Cropping a Great Dane's ears?

My question is this: Is there any great reason not to crop my Great Dane puppy's ears? Please read the whole detail before answering.

I live in Oklahoma where the temperature during the day hits 105 during the summer with amazing regularity. My pup doesn't spend much time outdoors (only when I can be out there with him.. usually 3 hours a day in the evening), but I've noticed that he runs around with his ears flopped backwards most of the time and makes no effort to put them back in the more traditional manner. He's 9 weeks old currently and if I have it done, it will be by a certified vet.

I'm not looking to do this for aesthetic purposes; I just don't want my pup to be miserable. Years ago I had an English mastiff whose ear canals would swell up and cause her a lot of discomfort during the summer. It seemed to help tremendously when I would fold her ears back. I don't want this guy to suffer. Your thoughts?
