• Im in my freshman year of high school and I was wondering about my GPA. Can I still raise it to a 4.0? I have details below?

I have 2 A+, 1 A, 1 A- , 2 B+ and 1 B. I do take 3 honors classes and 1 AP class. These is my first Bs so I’m a bit disappointed in myself but I was wondering if I get As and A+s for the rest of my high school career(very hard, ik but I’d like to try if it was possible), if I could raise it to a 4.0 unweighted. I’ve let myself slack off lately bc... show more

  • Is it okay to just swim (not laps) at the gym pool?

I just learned how to swim, literally 2 days ago. I’m not good, I’m still practicing and it’s hard to stay in a lane. I go at night around 8 with my parents and they stay in the hot tub while I’m in the pool. For the few times I’ve been to the pool, everyone has been swimming laps and practicing some strokes and stuff. I can’t even make it across... show more

For the few times I’ve been to the pool, everyone has been swimming laps and practicing some strokes and stuff. I can’t even make it across the pool yet. I was just wondering if it’s rude for me to do this. Usually there’s only one other person at the pool and i stay on the other side to not disturb them. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with what I’m doing but I haven’t seen anyone else just play around in the pool or whatever so I don’t want to be disturbing anyone.

  • What does the YMCA locker room offer?

My current gym is more expensive than the YMCA but offers amazing towel service and very nice locker rooms. The locker rooms have hairspray and antiperspirant and shaving cream and bags for your belongings as well as tanning beds. I don’t really use any of them except for the hair dryer and the swimsuit dryer. I really like how private it is. Well,... show more

I’m not comfortable changing in front of strangers and I’m very grateful for the changing rooms. However, the membership is $75/month while the YMCA is only $19/month for the student. I want to switch but not sure if i want to give up my routine and drive 5 extra minutes.

  • Is a 26” inseam short for a 5’2 woman?

I’ve suspected that I’ve had short legs but the info online hasn’t been helping me so i was wondering if a 26-27 Inch inseam (from ankle to crotch) would be considered short. If so, any tips on how to dress?

  • What are some extracurriculars activities for a 13 year old girl?

My daughter has never wanted to learn a new skill or anything. I’ve put her in dance classes, martial arts and sports but she doesn’t like any of them. She wants to join something but she doesn’t know what so I’m making a list for her. So far, I’ve got ice skating, and Taekwando.
