• Why do some women dress provocatively if they don't want attention? It doesn't make sense.?

Why dress in a way to attract attention if they don't want it. I get some just want to feel good about how they look but that's still based on the amount of attention they get from how they look. It's a very strange paradox.

So I believe there is a grammatical term for this but I don't know what it is, can anyone help? Example - They were ramming trucks This sentence has two meanings 1. So many of us have done it. Some people just ask for it, their questions just beg to be ripped on. i find it to be almost a public service, we are toughening up the weak and bringing laughs to others. It can also be considered a valuable learning tool to others to not be such Jack A$$es. What do you find to be the most rewarding thing about being a... show more

As I'm sure most of you now there is a lot of terrible and unfortunate things going on in the world and there are many people suffering in third world countries as victims of natural disasters, famine, war, poverty. It all gets a little overwhelming but it is still very sad. From the earthquake in Haiti and China to the floods in the middle east there just seems to be so may problems. So many people need help and protection and international aid. I donate where and when I can, I do care about the lives of these people but it is starting to get too much to keep up. Why is the support always left to be the burden of the middle class? Where are the Bill Gates and Ted Turners of the world when finances are needed. All hear about is how these people have more money than they know what to do with but still the burden is on the little people. Heck the Saudi Princes and Royalty are busy buying solid gold Mercedes and 200 millions dollar yachts while their people starve and die in the streets. How has it come to this point where the top 2% could not even care to send a few thousand dollars (what the probably carry in the wallet) to help those in need. The middle class can keep this up there is just too much. What do you think about it?

So I've been on Yahoo Answers for a while now and I notice a lot of the questions seem to come from younger people. Some of them are legitimate questions that are hard to find the answer to or are slightly obscure and complicated. However there are also questions from young people about things they could easily research with the use of google or Wikipedia. Finally the worst are the questions that ought to be addressed by the parents of these kids, like sex questions or bullying and the ever horrible and insanely repetitive 'does he/she like me' question. Why are these questions being directed to an online forum where half the people are trolls and the other have are just as lost themselves. Given there are a few posters here and there that are out to legitimately assist people by providing quality answers backed by experience or education. So my question is how do people feel about the complete lack of parenting that is going on in America these days. How did kids 20 years ago survive when there was no yahoo answers to post their ridiculous questions on. I have to say reading some of these questions posted makes it hard not to just rip into these kids for the amazing stupidity they freely display in open forums. Thoughts?
