I know it forms H2O so the product would be HC2H3O2(ac)+HCl(ac)-->H2O(l)+?
Thanks!2 AnswersChemistry8 years ago
I have a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse and I check under my car's hood at least once a week to make sure everything is working fine. I noticed that it was a little low on coolant so I added some to where it was a little over halfway. A week later the coolant was gone. I thought it was strange so I added some more and checked for leaks with the car on and off, any strange noises, steam, etc. and nothing.
Basically I have had to fill up my coolant every three days and the only thing that I find sorta weird is that smoke comes out of the exhaust in the morning when I turn on my car but it could be because of the cold, cause during the day no smoke comes out.
Any ideas to what it could be? Has this happened to anyone?3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs8 years ago
I know how to balance equations but I don't know what a net ionic equation is or how to formulate one. Could someone please explain and help me with these equations to fully understand? Thanks!
The equations are already balanced btw:
K2CO3(aq) + NiCl2(aq) ---> 2KCl(aq) + Ni(CO3)(s)
NiCl2(aq) + HCl(aq) ---> NiCl2(aq) + HCl(aq) **no reaction
K2CO3(aq) + 2HCl(aq) ---> 2KCl(aq) + H2O(l) + CO3(g)3 AnswersChemistry8 years ago
I have a 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS with a K&N filter, intake, headers, and a Magnaflow exhaust. It is really quick and has great acceleration compared to a 140hp bone-stock GS.
My friend has a stock 1999 Ford Mustang (V6). I know for a fact that it has around 190hp @5200rpm and weighs about 200-300lbs more than my Eclipse.
I have no idea how much hp my car has but it's definitely quick with its setup. Oh and it's @6000rpm.
We're going to race soon, is there a chance I can beat him? I mean if my car were stock 140hp I wouldn't even try lol but I really think I have a shot.
Oh and we played follow the leader on a highway a while back, he was the leader and he tried really hard to lose me by going as fast as possible but my car kept up with him easily.
So what do you guys think?4 AnswersMitsubishi8 years ago
I recently bought a manual '96 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS about three weeks ago. It stayed at the mechanic for a thorough check-up before I started taking it to college this week. Anyway...
Since I started driving it on Tuesday something weird has been happening to it. When I'm driving, the steering wheel stiffens and it makes it really hard to turn and all of the light on the dash (seatbelt, oil, battery, SRS, etc) light up and finally my car turns off. All I do is turn it back on and keep driving normally, but obviously this isn't normal so I would like to fix the problem.
At first I thought it was a little low on power steering fluid (because of the steering wheel tightening) so I added a little on Friday but the same thing happened.
The car got an oil change two weeks ago, power steering fluid, engine oil, and coolant have all been checked and the battery is new. Any suggestions to what the problem could be? I would greatly appreciate it.4 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs8 years ago
I wish to remove my middle name from my birth certificate and all other legal documents. I know the forms I need to fill out, but I'm a little confused. See, I was born in the state of California but I know currently reside in Puerto Rico. PR has its own laws and government so I cannot "go to my local courthouse" because of these simple reasons and because I was born in the states. My question is, do I have to go to court in California, where I was born with all my documents? Do I simply send them and wait for them to be revised? If someone could answer these questions and give me some good information or a phone number I can call I would greatly appreciate it.4 AnswersLaw & Ethics8 years ago
Can someone please explain this step by step?
"The initial value is increased by 47%, and the final result is 229.32. What is the initial value?"
x final = x initial + n/100×x initial
229.32 = x initial + 47/100 x initial
The answer is 156 but I need to know step-by-step how that answer is obtained.
I'm 18 and a resident of Puerto Rico, therefore I can legally drink now. However, my dad (who currently lives out of state) disapproves. He went berserk when he called and I told him I was at a bar the night before. I told him because I thought he would be cool with it, you know? I'm really confused because I've had drinks in front of him as a minor and he never said anything. Now that I'm legal though, I feel as though my parents are trying to tie me down. My mom is simply "okay" with me drinking; however, I know she supports my dad's wishes. It's not as though I get messed-up drunk or anything, I just have 2 or 3 drinks, a good laugh with a couple of my friends and that's it. Why can't they understand that? My parents know that I am way more responsible than others my age, yet they still want to hold me down. I'm an A student who recently got accepted into UPRM (considered the best university in Puerto Rico and Latin America) to study Civil Engineering. My parents drink too, if anyone was wondering. I just don't get it. My dad asked me, "Why do you have to drink?" I don't have to drink, it's my decision to do so, but I will always drink responsibly. They both know I'm a responsible kid, but once I show signs of being an adult they go nuts. Right now my dad is pissed and told me to not call him unless I had a legit explanation for my "actions". Even though my dad isn't here, I don't want to have a bad relationship with him. So.. any tips?2 AnswersFamily8 years ago
