  • How to reply to text from work colleague?

So I told my good friend at work I would swap a shift and work for her this coming Monday as it's her boyfriends birthday or something. Anyway my Grandad passed away last week, his funeral was today and my family decided that we will head to stay with some other relatives this weekend to scatter his ashes where my Grandma's were. I sent her a text apologizing but exclaiming how I wouldn't want to miss it. Her reply back was quite demanding I should have told her sooner and explaining that she'd told me about it two months ago.

I know feel quite guilty. But really don't want to miss it.

  • Old movies from the 40's, 50's etc?

So I've recently watched a few old movies and really enjoyed them, I've been browsing the internet for around half hour to try and find some sort of classic movie collection box set, to power through on my week off from work. But cannot find one! Any ideas?

    Thanks

  • Dry socket dressing question, please advise?

My dentist applied a dressing it was brown and tasted gross. He said it would work it's way out and I would swallow random bits. It's been a week now and I can feel it kind of floating at top of the hole should I pull it out?

  • Wisdom tooth extraction wound question ?

I had an impacted horizontal wisdom tooth out on Tuesday and I'm still in quite a bit of pain. The hole on the actual gum where the stitch is isn't giving me pain. But I've noticed another quite large hole on what appears to be my cheek. Why is there a huge hole in my cheek?! Or why is there two holes in that case

  • Anyone had a wisdom tooth out?

I had one out yesterday it was horizontal impacted and quite clogged into my jaw, the doctor said it was really tricky and I was under general anaesthetic for an extra half hour than planned.

In all honesty I think I'd be fine. I was wrong I haven't stopped bleeding, literally every minute my mouth is full I'm in agony, can't eat, all swelled and all my right side is bruised. I thought I would be back at work by Friday but I haven't even had solid food or spoke yet.

Anyone else had a tough time?

  • I really don't want to ring in sick?

I've woke up this morning with the worst case of coconjunctivitis ever. My eyes are bright red and continuously oozing pus. I know if I apply make up it's just going to make it worse again. I work as a personal banker in a bank, so deal with customers all day so really don't want to pass it on. Plus I really need to see the doctor for some stuff. The managers at work are really stern and nit picky and I'm worried

they won't think it's an adequate reason. Is it just for one day to rest my eyes? Thanks

  • Help my dog has swallowed a full bone? Advice please ?

I've been for a skydive this morning so left my German Shepard with my younger cousin. She's been to the shop and bought him a large animal bone which he's never had before usually he gets other treats. My cousin said he chewed the entire bone and swallowed it. I am slightly worried as I thought bones were fatal to dogs? He's his usual giddy self. Just wanted advice thanks

  • English Question? easy points?

I am devising a lesson plan for year 7s, was wondering if the question was too easy/hard

Please state answer and age group. Thank you

    Identify and correct the errors

Charley Harper's American Modernist artwork are bold and colourful with simplistic lines and shapes. He described his style as "minimal realism" and claim, "i don't tries to put in everything; i try to left everything out." He is also quoted as saying of his nature-oriented work, "i never count the feathers in the wings; I just count the wings!"

Born in West Virgina, USA, in 1992, Charley attends, and later teached at, The Art Academy of Cincinnati. He later became a commercial illustrator for various companies and for periodicals of largely nature-based organisations.

Most of his work were either painting or silk-screen printing of nature or wildlife subjects but he were probably best known for his children's book, "The Golden Book Of Biology". Examples of his work can be saw on www.charleyhstudio.com

  • Any dog owners? advice please?

We got our staffy neutured about two month ago. She is seven years old, we couldn't get it done sooner as she suffered from a problem with her immune system. Anyway, she then suffered a few water infections up till about three weeks ago. But ever since the surgery she's a different dog. She used to absolute adore our other dog. But ever since she growls at him over food, toys and territory. Everything. She's also become fifty times as hyper, accidentally nipping which she has never done. It's like she never calms down. She used to just walk at side and plod along during walks. Now all she does is pull, so much it makes my hand burn. We've mentioned it to vets but they don't seem so interested.

Any ideas? Will we get our old dog back? <[
