• How important is the rear locking diff on a Tacoma?

I live in Oklahoma. I don't rock crawl or get into much sand. but I find myself in mud quite often. My question is, i am looking at 07 Toyota Tacoma. 4.0L V6, 4X4. However, it is not the TRD package so it does not have the locking rear differential. I have heard it makes a big difference on 2 wheel drive trucks, but do you think I will miss it... show more

  • Where can i find the lowest priced IN STOCK remington 870 barrel?

I need a 24" or 26" with rem choke threads for 12 GA remington 870. everywhere I look is either overpriced or out of stock. I doesn't make sense to me to pay $200 for a barrel to a $300 -350 shotgun.

  • Do African big game hunters carry big bore pistols as backup the way Many Alaskans do?

I love my .44 mag. I carry it for running into wild hogs and it just got me wondering if African hunters even bother carrying pistols. I wonder if a .44 mag, .454 cassull, or .500 s&w would do anything against a lion, hiena, or cape buffalo?

  • Opinion from Bowhunters?

do you use a release? I don't but have been thinking about using one since I have heard it improves accuracy. However I can't shake the feeling that I am buying one more gadget that can break or get lost. What are our opinions?

  • Wild boar with my Turkey load.?

Going Turkey hunting this weekend and I was thinking. If a feral pig, which are present in the area, were to cross paths with me in the woods (unlikely, I know) Do you think my Turkey load would bring him down at close range, say inside 20 yards. I am using winchester # 4, 2 3/4" load in 12 gauge with a full choke. Just food for thought.

  • What is the best factory 12GA Turkey load for a conventional full choke?

My 870 I use for Turkey is old enough I wouldn't put steel shot through it so I am not sure if the new HI density stuff would work. Also, It is not a specail turkey gun. It has the old 30" fixed full choke barrel. Any tips and estimated ranges?

I don't expect it to be a badlands or kifaru pack, I just don't want to loose $90 on a pack I cant trust. It looks like a good deal for $89.95. Is it too good to be true? If anyone has any other pack suggestions under $200 I would appreciate that as well.
