I assume it is a back up of some type, but the substance looks like water but is oily, clear in color and no odor. Anyone have any idea what is going on. They are in the same area as the old plants were, but I washed and bleached the area and several weeks passed before I potted the new plants. How do I get rid of them and keep them gone.

I had never heard of this before (dry rot on tires, I know cracked belts need replacement). Is this a legitimate concern or is he just trying to get some more money.

Last week I got out and started it, the battery seemed weak, but it started and I drove it around, and all was well. The weather has gotten very cold and when I tried to start it yesterday, it wouldn't start, just a clicking sound, and I thought "crap, the battery is dead". Tonight my son in law tried to jump start it and it still did not start, just the clicking noise. Anyone out there know what might be wrong. Could it still just be the battery?

I checked the oil when I got home and it was full. Also, this car only has 52,000 original miles. She bought it in 2002 and it had 15,000 miles on it.

Recently he had brain surgery, is still in rehab but may not be able to go home for a while because of issues related to his brain surgery. The problem is he was staying with a girlfriend and they both had drug issues. A number of other people stayed there as well. The woman is currently in the hospital, but someone else in the home is using his debit card to access his social security and other disability benefits. Who can the family contact to stop the use of these benefits since he is not currently living at this address and may not be for some time. I have told them to call adult protective services and the social security administration. Any other suggestions.

My question is what would cause the oil pressure light to come on when you stop at a stop light, and then go off when you start driving. This has happened once, and I have not driven the car since. Also, while it did not overheat and drove fine, when I got home and checked the oil, heat absolutely rolled off the engine. My son in law asked if the car had been running hot and I told him no. I know car engines get hot, but I have been driving my own car, and checked the oil around this same time, with temperatures in the 90's and there was never an excessive amount of heat coming from the engine. Anyone have any opinions on what might be going on. I plan to take it to a mechanic.
