I hope I've explained this well enough. Thanks for your answers.

Then last year I was trekking again, and the injury returned. My knee feels fine, now. I walk and run and play football (soccer) and don't have problems. I'm travelling to Nepal again soon, and I don't want a repeat of the same injury. I will take it easy, but i'm looking for advice on things i could do to help minimise the risk of injury, such as certain warm up exercises to do, and recommended knee braces i could buy. Many thanks

In 2010 there will be a general election and the Conservatives will be governing this country. Everyone will be happy that New Labour has gone, but after a certain period, the Conservatives will start abusing their powers. Do people remember the relief when New Labour came to power? Deja Vu? The problem is not the political parties and their policies, but the rules in which they play and abuse their power. For example, if I had a say in a UK constitution, I'd make it illegal for anyone to play a part in government unless he/she has been elected. Currently, in the UK, we have a very grim and dangerous situation in which, possibly, the most powerful man in government is unelected (Peter Mandleson). It also make party whips illegal, and allow any member of parliament to have a free and anonymous vote. I'd be interested to know what other people would like in a UK written constitution. And here's one more idea. Why doesn't a group of people creaty a party whose sole purpose is to create a written UK constitution. If this party won a general election, its purpose would be to get a constitution formed, and then hold another general. The winning party - whether Conservative, Labour, Lib Dem, or others - would then have to abide by the new constitution.
