My partner and I have another child together and we are all a happy family. My question is.... Is it possible for me to be granted parental responsibility of his daughter as she lives with me and i make joint and important decisions about her life. I know her biological mother would contest any applications so I just wonder what to do. I want to gain parental responsibility for this child if humanly possible and don't mind a fight! The child in question is 8 years old. Also if anyone knows what it'd cost too (As we'd have to pay!!) Thanks in advance Sal x

  • What excercises are good to build up legs?

My 13 year old son has a hypermobile kneecap and the hospital has said he needs to do nothing but excercise to build up the muscles in his thigh to stop the kneecap moving quite so much. A referral for Physiotherapy has been made but that could take ages. In the mean time i wanna buy him some leg weights and get him excercising more. Any ideas?

  • Does stress lengthen recovery time?

Having just had an operation via keyhole surgery and been allowed to leave the hospital to recover at home, I find myself in a situation where i'm totally stressed out. Is this likely to extend my recovery time or will it not affect the healing process?
