We just found out my husband has a misdemeanor conviction for carrying a concealed weapon (it was not a gun, rather a butterfly knife that was too long) but we were unaware it was even on his record. Also, this all occurred 10+ years ago, none the less, he has wanted to purchase a gun for a while now and I am wondering, does this charge make it so... show more

I am just wondering if anyone else has been through this process and what I could expect. how long is this going to be, and how long before he actually will be able to come to live with us???? i know it depends on the case, but if anyone else has been through this how long did it take you? a month, six months, a year, more, less? also how would I go about adopting him since I am not his biological mother, and also since his mother no longer has any rights??? and by that i mean legally whats the process? any help would be appreciated. thank you

Ok so I have been having gall stone attacks for a couple years now, and I was scheduled to have it removed in January but I ended up cancelling it due to the horror stories I had heard about the side effects of diahrea and stomach pain and phantom attacks. and right before my surgery was scheduled I read on some place that if I drank apple cider vinegar and apple juice it would stop an attack, and it worked miracles. so for the last couple months anytime an attack would come on I would just drink the stuff and it would stop. but today in the morning I got an attack and drank it and everything was fine but then after lunch another attack came on and this time the drink did not work!!!! I was in agonizing pain for almost 7 hours. so now my problem is I don't have insurance anymore and I wont have it back til at least august so I don't have the option of having it removed right now. does anyone have any suggestions for stopping an attack while its happening and any solutions to help get rid of the stones without the surgery???? Please help me I don't want to deal with these attacks for months with no relief. Thanks

my husband and I are looking to relocate near the beach. it has always been our dream to live near the ocean. we are a young couple in our 20's with three young children. what I want to know is which coast is better to live on, the pacific or atlantic. we do not want crowded beaches and are not all that concerned with surfing and sports of that sort. we would be fine with a peaceful and quite beach in our backyard to sit and watch the sunset. we do like getting in the water so it does need to be some place where the water is warm enough and my husband would like a boat so we can go out and fish. I don't want to live right in the heart of hurricane central though. and I would also love to be somewhat close to some mountains so maybe I could do some camping on occasion. I know that seems like a lot to ask for and maybe even a little unrealistic, but I realize I probably wont get all I want. tell me where you think the best place to live would be by beach ( and whatever of my wishes it has) and tell me why you choose the place. Thanks. sorry its so long
