I'm making haleem from the Shan package but it says to cook the dahl and pulses for 4 hours with the meat, stirring constantly. I want to just boil the meat for some time and then add the dahl and pulses later, so that I don't have to worry about it sticking on the bottom. What would be the cooking times if I did it that way?
