I am a 19 yr old girl. At the beginning of this year I was told that my mother has suffered from bulimia for about 35 years. No one in my family took it upon themselves to address it with her, and upon discovering her illness, I decided I wasn't going to enable the situation as everyone else had. Of course my intervention did not go over well and she continues to not seek help and now blames the disorder on me. (I realize this is a mental part of the disease and not mothers true thoughts) I know as a result of her bulimia that I suffer from many health problems from her bingeing and purging during pregnancy (ie. cardio issues, weakened immune system, bone density issues). I am extremely worried about the health issues that she might be facing. Am I going to lose my mom to this disease?3 AnswersCancer8 years ago
I've been a ski instructor for 5 years now and I'm finding that it's becoming harder to come up with new, fun ideas to use with the kids. I ask to teach younger kids so ages range from about 5-7. I would really like to integrate an incentive program into my multi week lessons. I was thinking stickers or something (can't do anything involving candy because of allergies). If anyone has an idea I would really appreciate it! Thank you!2 AnswersSnow Skiing9 years ago
I'm headed off to university in September and I need a new laptop. I have a 3 year old HP right now and will never use a PC ever again. So Mac is my computer of choice now, but which Mac would suit me best? I'm just going for a general BA so I don't need any graphic programs or anything artsy. I do love music though and my iTunes library has about 10,000 songs. Cost isn't really an issue, I'm just looking for a good computer that will last the 4 years with minimal technical difficulties and will be easy to carry around campus.2 AnswersHigher Education (University +)9 years ago

If your looking into moving out West how far in advance should you start looking for living arrangments?
My best friend and I are planning on moving out west for either this coming summer or the one after that. We are both ski instructors and are hoping to get jobs teaching skiing on the glaciers. We are both very accomplished skiiers so getting the job isn't our worry its where we will live. Also, do you think anyone would let 2 17 year old girls move in?1 AnswerOther - Canada1 decade ago
I am a level 2 instructor for the CSIA (Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance) Myself along with my best friend completed our level 1 and level 2 this year, we are 15 and would love to be able to do something more with our levels. We both love to instruct and are planning on going to teach in the U.S. during our summer holidays next year. If we decide to do that will we have to get any further training or will our level 2 (or level 3 depending if we decide to get it this winter or not) be sufficiant for instructing in the U.S.?4 AnswersSnow Skiing1 decade ago
