  • A suitable microphone for a cassette recorder?

I have a cassette recorder that has built in speakers, but it has no built in microphone. I want to get a microphone so I can tape consultations and seminar classes because it's hard for me to write down things because of my auditory processing problems. I was wondering what kind of microphone should I get. I want to be able to just put the cassette recorder down and don't have to hold the mic. I want it so I can lay the cassette recorder/mic down and be able to to write stuff down or just relax and listen to the person talk.

if you know something online, please paste the link for it.

    Thanks

  • What are views in regards to Democratic Socialism?

    shrugs

After the grand victories of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the 1965 Voting Rights Act, King turned his attention to poverty, economic injustice and class inequality. King argued that those "legislative and judicial victories did very little to improve" Northern ghettos or to "penetrate the lower depths of ***** deprivation." In a frank assessment of the civil rights movement, King said the changes that came about from 1955 to 1965 "were at best surface changes" that were "limited mainly to the ***** middle class." In seeking to end black poverty, King told his staff in 1966 that blacks "are now making demands that will cost the nation something. ... You’re really tampering and getting on dangerous ground because you are messing with folk then."

King’s conclusion? "There must be a better distribution of wealth, and maybe America must move toward a democratic socialism." He didn’t say this in the mainstream but to his black colleagues. http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/la-oe-dyson4ap...

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. suggested that USA might have to move towards Democratic socialism, but he only said that to blacks.

    Maybe we should.

I get tired of people talking about the founding fathers to support things that should stay the way they are. The thing is that the founding fathers didn't intend on creating this nation for all people. They only created for mainly the white men. Women,Native Americans, and Blacks were left out of their plans for the nation.
