• ### How do I find and sketch the domain of the function f(x,y) = √(1+(1/(x-y)))?

How do I find and sketch the domain of the function: f(x,y) = √(1+(1/(x-y))) I think the domain is x>y but I'm not sure. Also, I can't figure out how to sketch the graph of the domain in 3-space?

I'm new to visual basic and am trying to figure out this project: You own a small company and your company sells one product-widgets. Widgets cost \$5 each, and when you ship orders, you use four box sizes: small (holds 1 widget), medium (5 widgets), large (10 widgets), and gigantor (25 widgets). Your task is to write a program that prints out a message welcoming the user, telling them the price of widgets and box sizes, and then ask them how many widgets they want to purchase. Your program should then calculate the correct cost, as well as the number of each type of box. (the most efficient combination-no empty spots!) Tell the customer the total product cost, as well as how many of each box will be used to send all of their widgets. I've figured out how to calculate the cost but I don't understand how to do the part w/ the boxes. What code should I use for that? Also how do I get the program to use the most efficient combination of boxes w/ no empty slots?
