Anyway, the odd part here is that I received a text saying a few hours later saying, "Hi Janet!" (my name is not Janet) from a number with an area code from Mexico, which ironically is where his family lives. How is this all connected? Did he accidentally give this person my number? Some group text? I don't get it.

Also, would a lot of his money be going to his ex-wife when he is divorced, especially if she doesn t work. I am 39 and he is 52.

I wasn't harassing him in anyway and just a few days ago he wanted to see me (even sent a cute image of a dog wagging it's tail). I am going to leave him alone, for after doing that, I see him as a totally different person. I did want to say a few final things though. What should I say? Or do I just let it be? I just think the picture thing was immature and mean.

When he said this, there were questions I wanted to ask, but I just let it be and didn't say anything. Well, yesterday I decided to text him asking him if he was really getting back with his ex fiance, or if he just lost interest in me. He responded saying, "It is so complicated. She wants to, but I'm not too sure of that, so I will have to think if I want to get back together. And I didn't lose interest. Sorry this all happened on my trip home (went on vacation to see his family). She found out I was there and we talked and she wants to give it another shot, while I'm not sure. I'm very happy withou her." I responded saying, "You need to do what makes you happy." If he is happy without her, why would he even think of going back? I am sure he still cares about her, but why go through something you are not sure of? Is she trying to manipulate him? I really like guy, and would still really like to see him. But would that be a bad idea to even suggest it? Or do I just let him be and move on? Give him time and let him figure it out on his own? He seems confused, yet seems like he would be doing this for her and not himself. I wish there was a way to persuade him into trying it with us, maybe explore his options and then see what he wants/doesn't want. What should I do?

We did have sex after a few times seeing one another and kept in touch. We were supposed to get together again after the holidays. He was going to be gone for a week visiting his family. But told me he couldn't wait to see me when he comes back and sent a flirty message saying he wanted to please me in every way possible. Anyway, when he came back a week later, he told me that he wishes me the best and just wanted to tell me that he was getting back together with his ex fiance. I sent no reply. But now today, I noticed he was back online on the dating site. He was off it for a couple weeks. Is it possible he was lying and just wasn't interested anymore? Is this an easier way to reject/let down a woman? Or is it possible things aren't working out between them? Or just keeping his options open? Should I just ask him to be honest? I know we are over so I shouldn't care, just want the truth and peace of mind I guess. I am 39 and he is 40. The strange thing here is he just moved my state from New York a month ago for a job, so I don't even get how he could get back together with her, unless he is doing long-distance, or he is moving back, or she is moving out here. What do you think of this?

I guess the obvious would be that he loves her, but isn't that totally going backwards? I hear of alot of guys who get back together with ex-girlfriends, which I can somewhat see. I thought it was cool with him new here, for no baggage coming with him and a fresh start for him. Anyway, he went on vacation this past holiday week to see his family, and when he returned yesterday, I received an unexpected text from him saying he wishes me the best and just wanted to tell me he decided to get back together with his ex fiance. There was no sign of this coming. He didn't talk about an ex and I don't even know how they would get back together, for he just moved hundreds of miles from his previous location for an excellent job. Maybe he is moving back, she is moving out here, or they are going to do long distance. I know I didn't date him long, but really liked him so it hurts. And it is very difficult to find a good guy where I live. I also see it as why should I even care about a guy who is wanting to be with someone else, but I have questions for him I want to ask. Or should I just let it be? I left no response to his text. I know men go back to their ex girlfriends, but is it common to go back to an ex fiance? Isn't that really going backwards?

But no response until Sunday when I text him asking how his weekend was. He replied a few hours later and I also told him i had a fun time Friday. He responded saying he did too, but wish I would have let him kiss me more. I told him I am sometimes a little shy at first, which I am. He then said, "Maybe next time?" I responded saying, "For sure, we will kiss a lot more next time!" He said, "Can't wait :)" I then told him I was off to bed and he said, "I hope you dream of me :)" I said, "I will :)" It is now Tuesday and I haven't yet heard from him. Granted it's only been a day, and he is real busy with work in the beginning of the week. I really like him and want to see him again. So, what is the next step? Wait for him to contact me? Or just be assertive and ask when he would like to get together again? I don't want to seem clingy or desperate, but want him to know I am real interested. And I know guys will sometimes tell you what you want to hear, but I don't think he would have said all that if he wasn't interested. What do you make of all this?

When can I be in the clear for letting my pet roam completely free? She likes to relax on furniture, go for car rides, visit people, play with other dogs, and likes to sleep in my bed. For now, she just sleeps on her little pet bed in this dog playpen I have for her.
