Ok so two weeks ago I had blood tests done after supposedly having scarlet fever, even though they are not sure now, ten weeks ago. I began to get better but then got worse again. I am a 15 year old girl and in my last year of high school and I can't do more than half days because I'm too ill, and have been for the last ten weeks since scarlet fever (if that's what it was, because no test was done)
My results came back that my kidney function was abnormal. Three of my blood counts were abnormal (I only know one, the one that meant my red blood count is too high) and also my blood sugar was 3.0
I have now been referred to the hospital and am going next Tuesday.
Thing is I had the blood tests done three weeks ago. I had the same re done a week ago and apparently they are now all normal. The doctor said that they could have come back abnormal because I had a urine infection, is this possible?
Thing is I'm no better. I've been up three times in the night this month almost going to hospital because I was that ill. Sometimes I don't feel too bad, but more often than not I feel ill.
I've had really bad headaches, nausea, extreme fatigue, shivers, a bad throat, a temperature, aching bones, dizziness and just generally feel weak all the time.
I am glad that I am still being referred because I feel really ill. Even my school phoned my parents at the beginning of this all to say that they were worried I wasn't well, as I looked terrible all the time.
At the moment I have very flu like symptoms that have developed in the past few days, which makes feeling generally ill worse.
I am also seeing a rheumatologist in a few weeks after having a positive ANA test.
Has anyone got any idea of what could be wrong?
Do you think I could still be ill, even though my blood tests are now apparently normal?
Also I put this question up two days ago but yahoo wouldn't let me see the answers
Thank you, all answers all welcome, so long as they offer some advice :)
