The songs are still good but there are those songs, at least on our classic rock station here in Detroit, that they play ad nauseum. Im sure its the same in other big cities as well. Anyway heres my list--and keep in mind, I still like the songs but im just tired of hearing them: Stairway To Heaven---Led Zeppelin Night Moves--Bob Seger any CCR Maggie Mae--Rod Stewart Nights In White Satin--Moody Blues All Right Now--Free Takin Care of Business--BTO Satisfaction--Rolling Stones Dreams--Fleetwood Mac Edge Of 17--Stevie Nicks Thats just the tip of the Titanic iceberg haha. So whats your list folks? Another pet peeve about our classic rock station: They play Bon Jovi incessently (sp), no kidding, but they wont play Whitesnake, Cinderella or Quiet Riot type bands--WHY NOT??!! , makes no sense. They also play REM but they dont play any Cure, or XTC--WHY NOT??!! They play Stevie Wonder, but you never hear any Billy Preston or Sly Stone--WHY NOT??!! I used to be in radio (for 18 years) and it just sickens me the way most are programmed, most of it just doesnt make sense but i guess it makes "cents" so maybe thats why--damn corporate ownership (which is why i got out). Well thank you for letting me spout haha , had to get that off my chest :0)

Please feel free to add to the list, fun to see what others think. Theres obviously alot more than I put, but those are the ones that lept to my gray matter first.

But thats the way of the world. Hopefully they bring back some good rockin memories for ya. Feel free to add to the list, would be fun to see what others think!!
