Me and my wife had started an LLC couple of years ago, where she owns 75 % and I own 25%. Never had to pay estimate taxes since it was a loss for the initial years. We also have our regular salaried jobs too. This year, i sold off my share to another individual and the company is profitable. Since its an LLC , the pass-through income applies. Fortunately, the income was high this year, so she filed federal and state estimate taxes. When we file our annual taxes next year (joint filing), should she be the primary and me as the spouse or can it continue as me being the primary and she the spouse on the tax return.
Will the tax agency be able to view/link the estimate taxes paid during the year ?1 AnswerPersonal Finance6 days ago
I took out a mortgage in 2016 for $320,000 at 3.6%. This was a 30 year loan. With interest rates low, should i get a 15 year or a 30 year. I can afford either payment.
Is it worth getting a 30 year which does reduce my monthly payment and every so often pay in a chunk of money towards principal.

Me and my wife have a LLC formed 5 years ago on a 80-20 split. I dont know how or why , but due to an error, we have been reporting the split as 90- 10 on our K1 forms. How much of a trouble are we in ?
We are ok to create a new operating agreement to reflect the 90 - 10 split.
Any advise.1 AnswerUnited States5 months ago
I have a Kenmore dryer that leave a puddle of water every single time i run the dryer. The leak is also directly underneath the dryer and not near the vent. I opened up the dryer and cleaned out all the dust/link that has been accumulated. Even the vent that goes out is also clean with no blockage. Not sure what else could be the problem. Any advise ? Dryer is almost 9 years old.1 AnswerCleaning & Laundry12 months ago
Was it just me or did the ending of Indian Idol , Season 10, look like it was done in an almost empty stage audience. The awards were given by Vishal and Neha. The regular host was missing. The coordination between them was horrible and even SRK was not there. It was just a bad ending (production wise) to such a great season. Anyone know the reason why ?Reality Television2 years ago
Video from my laptop to my 4k projector is not as smooth as it is on the laptop ? Lenovo Laptop connected to Optoma UHD60 via HDMI?
The laptop is connected to a Onkyp system which is then connected to the Optoma UHD60 projector. The audio is good and clear , but the video isn;t as smooth in terms of frame transtiion as it is on the laptop. I understand that the colors will have a difference, as the laptop will always produce better colors. The length of my cable is approx 40 feet. Its a Blue Rigger cable.

I am planning a DIY projector screen for my HT and need your suggestions please. In the basement, i do get ambient light but not much, However, it starts to get dark in the evening and can get a dark room at night (duh). With that, do you recommend a matte white or a grey screen. Similarly, should i go with a higher lumen KT800 or a little less lumen HT2550. Which projector should be paired with which screen.2 AnswersOther - Electronics2 years ago

I recently moved into my 8 year old house. I noticed that in the patio, there is a gap between the concrete floor and the actual basement. All this is on the outside. I did see nails connecting these two (the patio floor and the building which has the shingles) . I do believe wood was put in between these a long time ago, as now when i remove it, they come out damp and in pieces. I think there is some soil too underneath that. Due to the damp condition, i always have mosquitoes. Any recommendations on how to seal these gaps and dry out the moisture to have a clean and non-mosquito patio.3 AnswersOther - Home & Garden3 years ago
I have a moen hand held shower that is probably few years old. Every 5 secs, a drops comes out of the head when i turn off the valve. For testing, i removed the entire showerhead with the "tube", leaving only the main pipe coming from the wall. When i close the main shower valve, no leaks and no drip of water from the pipe. So i re apply the plumbers tape and put the shower back on. But still i get that leak when closed. What other area can i look into. Its weird that nothing leaks when there is no shower connected but leaks occur when showerhead connected.2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs3 years ago
I have a T450s with a 500 gb Samsung SSD as the hard drive. I recently bought the WD 4TB USB3.0 and started copying data from hard disk to the the external WD. All usb ports on laptop are 3.0. But the average copying speed runs between 60 - 109 mb/s. I thought with a usb 3, we should run into gbps as the average read/write copy speed . What am i missing?4 AnswersOther - Hardware3 years ago
I was plugging a hole in my tire and maybe i used extra force, but couple of plugs (applied glue that comes with the kit) went into the tire and i could not take them out. On the third try, i was successful. Is there any issue with the plugs inside the tire? Should i go to a mechanic and get them out ?4 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs3 years ago
I would like to know if there is a lens which is as sharp as a 50mm prime (with atleast 1.8 for low light photos) and the power of 70-300 mm (for the great bokeh). I am a novice and have practiced with the two above and would like to graduate to a single lens that can do both without breaking the bank. I have a D90 camera and cannot afford an expensive lens at this time in life.4 AnswersCameras3 years ago
We are not a public traded company. Our management recently gave us common stock shares of the company at 0.50 cent a share. I know that the company has a total of 100 million shares (friend from finance). I got a total of 5000 shares. If the company is sold for 200 million, does it mean that i get $5000 dollars from my shares or will the worth of my stock be different ?4 AnswersInvesting3 years ago
So i have a 24 inch x 5 inch piece of wood. To this, i want to attach at the center, a 80 inch long 2x2 inch piece of wood, kinda similar to an Inverted T. Please let me know how to stbilize these two. i was thinking of attaching a diagonal piece of wood at an angle for support. But, i'm not sure what angle or at what length should i connect that support. Any suggestions ?2 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)3 years ago
I am thinking of growing herbs and few plants indoor for a continuous supply all year long. I was thinking of using full spectrum fluorescent bulbs. But my question is, if i turn on the bulb for 10 hours daily, would the electricity consumption in terms of dollar exceed the cost of buying herbs as and when needed.
I am not discussing the healthy / organic benefits etc. I am just looking at the costs associated with this project.
Any suggestions ?4 AnswersGarden & Landscape4 years ago
