  • Can I still become a teacher if I've been arrested for a traffic warrant?

I know it's not a criminal conviction but how will my arrest affect me becoming a teacher?

It was for an unpaid speeding ticket.

  • Arrested for a traffic warrant. Do I have a criminal record now?

I was released after paying the traffic fine (speeding) and the warrant was lifted. But do I have a criminal record now?

I'm not talking about the arrest record. I'm talking about any criminal convictions on my record. Or was everything resolved after being arrested and paying the fine. This is in Nevada BTW.

  • Which is better Netflix or Blockbuster?

I'm thinking of switching from Netflix to Blockbuster. I really like Blockbuster's unlimited in-store trades, but have heard that they're shipping is slower than Netflix. What are some other pro and cons of each? And which would you choose?

  • Which is a better degree, accounting or information technology?

I really do prefer information technology, but from what I understand is that there is very little opportunity because of jobs going to India and H1B visas. I've accepted the fact that I'd be laid off at some point during my career because of this. That's if I can even find an entry level position.

Accounting however, has a better outlook but will most likely pay less and seems a little dull.

What are some other pros and cons between the two? And which would you choose?

  • How would you fix the economy?

Some measures that I would take would be:

Lower our country's corporate tax rate to one of the lowest in the world for keeping jobs in the U.S. but at the same time double the rate for shipping jobs overseas. And start to limit our labor unions, I know most have good intentions but I think the labor laws in place are good enough.

What do you think? What are some of your ideas?

  • What are some nice areas around Seattle Washington to live in?

I'm planning on moving to the Seattle area from Las Vegas when I graduate college. What are some areas around Seattle that would be a good place to live? I'd prefer to stay out of inner urban / high crime rate areas.

I was thinking maybe Lakewood. Do you have any recommendations?

  • Community College and Army ROTC?

Will non-transferable community college grades be counted towards the OML ranking after going to an ROTC university?

Will my community college grades be counted towards my ROTC ranking when I transfer to the university?

  • Army Background Check?

Basically I admitted to experimental pot use on an application for my previous job and police academy. Is this information going to be kept confidential or will my Army background check find this for a Secret Clearance?

Wondering whether I should omit this or not.

  • Army ROTC and marijuana use?

Okay here's the deal, One time experimental pot use when I was 14 (14 years ago). Is this automatic DQ for getting into Army ROTC? If accepted will it keep me from doing certain occupations like aviation & infantry after commission?

And no I won't lie about it because I've already admit to it on my police academy and job applications. Top Security Clearance will find it.

  • Army Reserves, how does this work?

If I join the Army Reserves will I be shipped all across

the country or would get to stay near my hometown/locally and serve.

Reason I ask is because my fiance is almost finished with college & will

be starting her career soon and I don't want to burden her and our family with

    a lot of moving.

And yeah, I know about deployments/training but besides that, if I live in Nevada

will I get to serve here, or is there a chance that I'll be stationed somewhere else permanently and be stuck there.

  • Pilot in Army Reserve?

Is it possible to become a Pilot in the reserves after ROTC? Or do ROTC grads have to go active duty if they want to fly?

  • Another question about Army ROTC?

I'll be 31 when I finish my bachelor's degree so I'm sure I'll need an age waiver for ROTC. But once in ROTC will age still be a factor in trying to get into aviation as a pilot? Or as long as it's before my 33rd birthday like the requirements for warrant officers?

  • Question about Army ROTC?

What is the criteria for ranking members in your ROTC class/cadre when graduating? i.e. Like G.P.A. counts for 30% physical training 15% and so on. I'm really interested in joining and want to see if I'll be competitive enough to have some say in which branch I go to.

  • I've smoked Marijuana, Can I still become a pilot in the Army?

One time experimental use when I was 14. Planning to get commissioned through ROTC, but will this incident disqualify me to become a pilot? Or should I just omit it?

  • Better job, Nurse (RN) or Ultrasound Tech?

Do you think there are far more RN opportunities than ultrasound techs. My current major is pre-ultrasound, but I'm reconsidering because of poor job outlook. Almost every hospital / clinic I look at only have part time or per diem openings. But RN openings are abundant. Any thoughts?

  • Better job outlook Ultrasound Technician or Nurse (RN)?

Which of the two jobs will have a higher demand in a couple of years? Ultrasound tech interests me a lot more, but it seems like there are very few job openings compared to Nursing. So my main concern is being able to find employment after school. What do you think?

  • Should I become a Republican or Democrat? Need help deciding.?

Republican views make the most sense to me and have more in common with. I'm pro gun, for less spending & lower taxes, very religious, pro-Life (this is a biggie to me). Yet at the same time I'm for amnesty. There are few Democratic policies that make sense. With that said I'm really leaning Republican.

However my dilemma here is... How was Bill Clinton able to run the country so well, yet President Bush's policies were complete disasters?

So how should I decide. Any thoughts?
