  • bodyweight workouts for PT?

I'm looking for some alternate PT exercises and I have seen some stuff on Youtube. I really want to blow away my next record PT test but want to do more than just pushups, situps and running. Gets boring after a while. Keep in mind that I am in the doggone backwoods of West Virginia so anything involving equipment is out the window. Anyone using any of those Bodyweight workouts? what works?

  • Who thinks that only rich people have low taxes?

I saw in another question that some folks think that taxes are low for rich folks but high for them. Do you not realize that if you get a refund every year you technically dont pay taxes at all? Did you also know that the top 50% of wage earners pay 96.54% of all taxes? just wondering.

  • Any good Dad stories?

I'm a Dad for 2 little girls and and an even littler boy. I havent seen them since June when I went back to finish my tour in Afghanistan. I'll get to be with them in about three months and I am really looking forward to being a special Dad. I'd like to hear some great stories about special Dads and what made them special.

  • Will I ever stop daydreaming?

I'm 29 years old, sitting here in Afghanistan knowing that soon I will be going home to my family. Wanting to be with my family is easy, finding a way to support them is where it begins to get tough.

I'll be out of debt when I get back, and thanks to the good ol GI Bill, I'll be able to put myself through college with a little part time job. I DONT KNOW WHAT TO STUDY! I have no passions, no desires other than to find something I enjoy that will let me stop wondering if I would be happier doing something else! Went thru my whole 20's like that. Bouncing from job to job. does it ever go away?

  • Is Communism Right for America?

I read recently that Communism and/or Socialism is getting trendy on college campuses. I would like to hear from some of these commies on how communism is the best option for America. The winning answer will make no mention of President Bush or the War since its not relevant to the question. We are talking about changing our form of government and the percieved benefit of adopting a Communist or Socialist form of Government. Fire away.

  • The Tao of the Bean?

One guy grows the beans, another guy stacks the beans, some accountant counts the beans, and somebody sells the beans. These people all work for beans so they can buy some beans, or go out and get refried beans instead of sitting at home eating beanie weenies and not doing beans!

  • Abolish Foster Care?

We all hear horror stories about foster children being abused and neglected by would-be caregivers in persuit of free money. Understanding that good caring people are overshadowed by this abuse, would it not be safer for the children involved to return to an orphanidge type system where they can be safe? Or should there be more intese scrutiny of Foster parent applicants? or Both?
