  • I found the Eye of Round Roast was pink on the outside, but when I cut in to it before cooking, it was brown.?

The brown was throughout the meat. I've never had this happen. I cooked it but haven't eaten it. Smelled ok but I don't trust it. Any thoughts?

  • Tired of boomers and loud exhaust pipes?

If I could get a doctor to remove my ear drums tomorrow, I would. I know this sounds drastic but unless I could move far in to the country, I'll be assaulted by these noises the rest of my life. My stress limit has almost been reached. Becoming deaf would save either my life or the life of one of these thugs. Constructive noise doesn't bother me. I could live by a jack hammer testing facility. But that's something I could walk away from. These audio losers are everywhere. Anyone feel the same?

  • TAPS vs Ghost Adventures?

Ghost Adventures is a joke. Notice how Zach is always shushing everyone then he starts talking immediately. Such a drama queen with the cameras on him. I can't take that show seriously. He visually gets in the way of any true paranormal event with the need for attention. The TAPS crew is serious about their work. And Paranormal State would be ok except when Chip Coffee is brought in. Then the screaming like little girls starts. Some psychic.

  • WAMU mortgage question?

WAMU bought my house loan a couple of years ago. I've never been late and actually owe only about 60K on it now. With JP Morgan acquiring WAMU do you think I'll have any problems with the transition?

House payments were drafted out of my bank account for the first lender. There was a problem with that when WAMU took over but I got that straight and paid only by phone for $12 more to ensure the payment got through.

Any thoughts on this new transition? Will JP Morgan contact me as the homeowner?

    Boy, what a mess, huh?

  • Found vertebrae with no spinal column hole?

Last fall I found a vertebrae on a Louisiana beach. I could tell instantly that it was skeletal but the fact that it had no spinal column hole made me curious. After week of research on the internet, I found a few dinosaurs such as the Hadrosaurus that had that type of vertebrae it its tail. However, most of these creatures were found far away from water in the middle of the U.S. Anyone know of a Palentologist that I could send a pic of this object to?

  • How do you feel about Audio Terrorism?

The low frequency vibrations from subwoofers are negatively affecting humans and animals. They are dangerous...the government uses sound as a weapon for interrogation.

And the loud glass paks and exhaust pipes are wasting gasoline as well and causing every town in the U.S. to be faced with living inside a NASCAR track. We can get no peace and quiet anywhere.

Anyone concerned about noise pollution and starting a movement to eliminate this? Both things are illegal but the police are outnumbered. We need strong regulations...any ideas anyone?

  • Women and the male dominated work place?

Women, do you work in an environment that denies any sexism but you see it everyday?

We have an Alpha Dog who is middle management but has the all male upper management lapping at his feet.

The women basically run the business, are paid less, aren't interested in talking about sports all day and treated with little respect. Those who speak out get in trouble.

The men are slackers and waste so much of the company's money with travel, etc. Head of the company is male but not assertive and doesn't like confrontation. So it's bedlam.

We've lost quite a few excellent male workers, mostly in their twenties who do have a work ethic and don't like the testosterone poisoning driven culture there. I could talk to them in a rational manner. The rest are boys in mens bodies. I have to say it's draining emotionally for all the women. Anyone else have this problem?

Of course if we speak out about the lack of work the guys are doing, we're bitches and complainers.

  • Has your hometown become a NASCAR racetrack?

Now that pickups and some cars have mostly illegal exhausts, do you feel that you are living inside of a racetrack?

I realize that there will always be traffic and that noise doesn't bother me but now all I hear are loud exhausts everywhere. There is NO peace anymore. Any thoughts?

  • who started the phrase 'that being said' ?

Now, everyone is using it and it's driving me crazy. I once read somewhere that 'hell is repetition' and that is so true.

Was it a politician? It's making me nuts. Well, more than usual.

  • Cannabilism and your kittens?

Myself, my best friend, her husband and 6'2" son all have this problem. We love our cats and occasional new kittens so much that we could suck their eyeballs out or bite their ears off.

My friend has two new kittens and she said their fat tummies just make her want to bite a hole in them. It's wonderful to see her grown son make pooties on their tummies. It's almost an uncontrollable urge to bite their heads off because they are so adorable.

We laugh about this urge but also find it totally wierd. One of her cats brought in a baby squirrel with no fur on it yet and she raised it, taught him to eat food from his habitat and one day he left. By the way, the cat and squirrel slept together. She loved this squirrel so much she said she could just suck his brains out through his little nostrils.

I know this sounds gross and wierd. We're all normal, I promise. We just can't help the overwhelming love we feel and how to channel it. Anyone else feel this way, ever?

  • New Sears/Mastercard harrassment?

Ok folks..the last time I used my Sears (store only) card was to buy tires about 4 years ago. I didn't know they merged with CitiCorp and now have a Sears Mastercard. My account was inactive since I only use it for tires.

Suddenly I get a bill for 'account care' which I never had. Got that straight. Then a bill for $16 so I went ahead a paid it. They sent me a gold Mastercard which I didn't want and I have NOT activated it. Now a bill for late fees. This is ridiculous.

I know, I need to call them (once again) and be transferred to fifty different people. I will do that but I was wondering if anyone else has run into this problem. God, I hate money.

  • Loud exhausts & Brokeback Mountain?

I've heard it confirmed in my town and a few others that married or single straight men are putting dual loud exhausts on their trucks to signal to others that they are looking for a little male on male action.

Anyone else heard of this? Guys are taking them off in droves here and putting the smallest pipes on they can find.

  • Thugs who recently robbed a church?

Well, beats working, huh? These thugs who robbed a church recently during a service have reached a new low. We hear the RACE card played constantly and we're walking on eggshells not to offend our blacks bruthas.

When I see things like this on the news...forget PC. White or black - uneducated thugs who would stoop to something like this because they say 'whitey been bad to us' - I'm sick of it. It's just an excuse to continue to ruin America. Bill Cosby...keep it up. They won't listen to you because you tell the truth and try to make blacks own up to responsibility. But then they'd have to actually work for a living.

Our truly educated black leaders are accused of 'acting white'. No, they have a sense that we are all supposed to be one and they strive for the good of the nation.

    Any thoughts?

  • Words demeaning to women?

Now that the words 'pimp', 'trick' have become mainstream, what does that say about women? We all know that women and girls are still being abducted, raped and murdered everyday.

These are derogatory terms used to degrade women and the monsters who use them to earn money. Why doesn't American society ever stand up for women? Women's Liberation shouldn't even be a term. We have fewer rights in the world, regardless of color than any men. We are the prey and terms like these just reinforce that view.

  • Question for commercial pilots?

We were on what I think you call the glide path to landing in Kansas City - the hub of a now defunct airline. I believe the plane was a DC3 or 737. As we were about to land, the pilot powered back up and we circled and finally landed. No word from the pilot or flight attendants about why. Any ideas?
