When I go to the email page, It asks which is my preferred manner of communicating but clicking on email doesn't do anything. I want the part of the page that keeps me from looking at a long list of my emails from coming up and covering them. Sorry I'm not clearer.1 AnswerOther - Yahoo Mail8 years ago
Has anybody gotten email supposedly from family members but with another email address after their real one?
I've gotten an email supposedly from my sister but actually from firstname.lastname@example.org. Here is how it looks:
email@example.com (sister's address--made up)
with a link to a site. The link is some offer with a warning from firefox not to go there.
The subject is :For (my name).
So, the scammer/spammer has her entire email address and my email address and full first name.4 AnswersAbuse and Spam8 years ago
It is doing this sporadically. Started a few days ago.3 AnswersYahoo Answers9 years ago
Three times tonight I've written an answer to what seemed like pretty good and innocuous questions only to find they had been deleted "according to community standards." One was "What quote do you live by?" Another was "What would you say to President Obama if you had a few seconds to talk to him" by somebody who just might have the chance. Is there someone out there who's labeling questions as improper just to do it or is something wrong with Yahoo?3 AnswersYahoo Answers10 years ago
I have 76 emails in my Spam folder, and they came in only 12 hours. This is the biggest increase I've ever seen. Could it be that since more people are out of work, more scams are being developed? Hope not.6 AnswersAbuse and Spam1 decade ago
Twice today, when I've written out an answer and clicked on submit - I've been taken to the this question has been deleted page. Both times, when I tried again, the answer went through. Has anyone else had this problem? Usually I just give up when I submit an answer and get this page, but these two times I had read some of the other answers before I submitted mine and knew the question had been open for at least a little time. What's up?5 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade ago
I've just learned there is a 500 limit on email addresses you can block. Is there any way to see that list and remove some addresses? Is Yahoo! going to up that number. Many of us are getting loads of spam all of a sudden. I can't believe we've all reached that limit. I think it's a problem in Yahoo!, but I still want to know if there is a way to check the list and unblock an address, especially if I made an error.3 AnswersAbuse and Spam1 decade ago
