Here's the situation:
My dad is currently in the hospital looking at losing his leg. It started with an ingrown toe nail being removed and his toe turning gain green. They tried opening up his veins in his leg to improve circulation but still ended up removing the toe. The gain green has now spread to his foot and his veins have closed up again so they are talking about removing his leg. They currently have him on a IV of antibiotics to see if that will help.
He is diabetic I don't know if that is what caused this
The question is, is there anything else that can be done?3 AnswersDiabetes1 decade ago
