  • why pay full tax on gasohol?

We pay tax on a full gallon even though the gallon is only 9/10th gasoline... Why are we paying the same tax on ethanol that we are paying on gas? Isn't it bad enough that we have to use the crap that will destroy our mileage?

  • why do i pay the same tax for ethanol as for gasoline?

    I mean really,

Why is it that I have to pay taxes on a full gallon of gas when I am actually paying tax on 9/10ths a gallon of gas an 1/10th of a gallon of ethanol?

Shouldn't the tax be reduced by 1/10th as well on the full gallon because it has been diluted by the crap ethanol?

  • Do you think OPEC is responsible for Global Warming?

Why don't the peace loving OPEC's just stop producing oil?

If they would just do that, CO output would drastically reduce, no?

  • Since Yahoo Answers will sometimes delete questions you have answered?

Should there be an email me this link option?

Sometimes you pour your heart, soul, time, effort and really good BS into an answer for someone. Then for some flaky reason Yahoo decides to delete the question.

I submit there should be an "email this Answer" check box you can select right next to the submit box.

That way, you can keep a record of all the "important" answers you would like to keep for later use.

I mean really Yahoo. Why are you wasting my time by deleting what I may consider to be vauable stuff?

  • End Immigration?

I say we ask Mexico if the states within that country want to join the United States.

While we're at it, ask all the Central American countries if they want the same deal, all the way down to Panama.

Heck let's throw Canada a bone and offer all the provinces with the exception of Quebec (They don't even like Canada!)

a chance to join the largest single democracy (land-wise) in the world.

    Yes or no?

  • In Jerusalem during sacrifice, can anyone say?

How much blood flowed through the streets? Hundreds of thousands of worshippers bringing hundreds of thousands of animals to the altar. The streets must have flowed red from all the blood. Soooo much blood. Lamb's blood, ram's blood... blood, blood and more blood. Anyone have an idea how much it might have amounted to?

  • Why do Jews rarely mention blood sacrifice any longer?

Could it be that the the blood of the atonement is too graphic or is it to much like a pointer to the blood of the Holy, once for all sacrifice of Messiah called Christ?

  • Is atheism the religion of evolutionists?

It would be a logical conclusion that those who spend all their time trying to prove there is no god would be atheistic. No?

  • Is all disease caused by God?

    No...

The answer is that when Adam and Eve sinned in the garden by consuming the forbidden fruit, their DNA was forever altered, altered to the point that this DNA introduction was passed on to their children’s children down to us. It is called SIN! I would submit that DNA is held together with strands of sin. Without sin, DNA today could not function properly. DNA is the sin carrier. Every abhorrent behavior listed in the Bible is pre-programmed into every persons DNA. Some may have more of a particular bend towards a particular sin but we all have it to varying degrees. The only salvation is the Spirit of God which renews the heart and mind to be separated from the flesh. Although this can never really happen until death, the Spirit of God enables us to live the life of obedience to God. Without the spirit it is impossible to please God. God is Spirit and those who worship him, worship him in spirit and truth. The flesh or the body as we know it will die and rot in the ground.

  • Why does the Bible speak of being cleansed from sin?

If it is possible to cleanse sin from our bodies, why wouldn't God just allow us to enter heaven in our earthly form? Some versions of scripture use the words forgiven of your sin and some use the word cleansed of sin. Wash me and I will be whiter then snow...(this appears to indicate washing as opposed to just cancelling a debt owed.) I argue that the body or flesh is impossible to cleanse but the spirit or soul may be cleansed from the body’s genetic sinfulness. If our DNA is polluted by sin, and our souls live in communion with our bodies, then our souls can become polluted by the effects of a sinful body. The soul on the other hand is eternal and can be cleansed from sin unto eternal life. Without this cleansing, the soul is condemned to suffer eternally in torment. This is the spiritual act of suicide. By not allowing the sin cleansing blood to sanctify the soul by separating the flesh from the spirit, the person or soul of the non-believer is condemned.

  • Does the Spirit of God help flesh or our soul?

If the Spirit of God lives in us, does he live in our flesh or in our souls? The Parakleet, The helper is in us to guide us and subdue the effects that sin has in our flesh so we may overcome or sinful desires. We are at war with the fleshly desires. It's not like the Spirit takes residence in our medulla oblongata and juices our bodies with sin antidote. Securing a place in eternal bliss is the job of the obedient follower of the son of God. Denying the sinful desires of the flesh which has been poisoned by the hideous, death inducing, DNA altering fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

  • If a believer is to crucify the flesh, what good is there in the flesh?

Your flesh is what is incompatible with your soul and God for that matter. God created us in his image to have fellowship with him. In perfection, our flesh had no sin therefore we could have fellowship and not fear death. Once sin entered the world, we live in fear of a holy God who can dissolve our flesh and send our souls to eternal torment in hell.

We are told to die to self and live for God. What part of the flesh can be saved? What good thing in God's eyes is a body that will die from the affects of sin to an eternal soul? I say DNA has been programmed with sin. Sin will one day rob us of our living bodies. Yet, sin will only rob us of our souls if we don't live through its effects by the spirit of the Almighty God.

Sin has been with us from the garden. That must have been some fruit God created that had the power to alter DNA in such a way to reach into time and touch every living human being.

  • Is sin a genetic program in our DNA?

All have sinned. There is no one holy, not one righteous save the Son of God from the womb. So, if that be the case a question is asked; is sin programmed into our DNA? Salvation is the spiritual antidote for a physical ailment. Since all have this "sin" programming and nothing of the flesh can overcome it, wouldn't it be safe to say that only a spiritual solution to sin can save us from yielding to the physical death caused by this sin programming...

I'm not singling out any one particular sin; I am including all the works of the flesh. Does anyone have a rebuttal?

I know I’ll get the moronic fleshly response from atheists and those who can’t reason for themselves, I’m looking for good dialogue here and I will report anyone who can’t carry on a competent rebuttal or addition.

  • Does anyone out there know how to read Aramaic?

Since it is the language of the common man of the Old AND New testaments, it is safe to assume the original scripts for the Bible are written in that language. I'm tired of hearing "the Greek says this! OR the original Hebrew says this!" The original language is Aramaic. I want to know if someone has been able to resurrect a dead language to find out what the Bible really says. Anyone?

  • Is anyone familiar with this name? Eashoa'?

Eashoa' is the Aramaic name of the one called Jesus.

Yeshua is the Jewish name; however the form of writing used in the area the Messiah trod was Aramaic. It would be safe to assume, the name inscribed on the ossuary would have been written and pronounced Eashoa', not Yeshua or Jesus.

The ossuaries are forgeries. They were most likely placed in the tomb by the Jews who could not explain a missing body guarded by roman soldiers. The Jewish priests would have had no problem sacrificing a family just like that of Eashoa' to perpetrate their plot. Hey, they killed the Son of God. What would prevent them from continuing in their sin by killing others? I don’t think there would be any limit to the conspiracy the priests would contrive.

The ossuaries are another plot to divert power from the resurrected Messiah Eashoa'. Do you think Cameron is doing this to further knowledge? It's all about the money. There is money in controversy and there is plenty of controversy here. I pray for James’ soul and ask that his eyes are opened to the lie he is multiplying. A lie conceived to detract from the power of the Holy God of heaven and earth. Satan up to his old tricks; no savior, no Satan, Satan wins.
