I am a proud mommy of a little boy. I fell in love with the love of my life and I am living my happily ever after. Life is great!
I have read several different opinions on this and I was wondering some of yours. What is the best way to buy tickets? To purchase a package from Disney or to pay for the resort(a disney resort) and the tickets seperately.
Also the dining plan... is it worth it? I know that you can eat at places you normally wouldn't but could you save money by budgeting on your own?
Thanks in advance.6 AnswersOrlando1 decade ago
We want to take a trip to WDW in December of 2008. How far can you book your trip in advance? Do I have to wait until next year to do it? Also what about payment... if you do book that far in advance how much is due right away and do they have a way you can pay for a little bit each month?
I've been to Disney many times before but we usually booked everything a month ahead of time and never this far in advance.
All answers will be helpful and appreciated.8 AnswersOrlando1 decade ago
How do you calculate how many points you are allowed on the Weight Watchers program? I know it's based on height and weight for sure but I didn't know if anyone knew where I could find a chart or a website with more information on how to calculate how many points I can have?4 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade ago
My son is 10 months old and he won't pick up a cheerio or any other kind of finger foods and put them in his mouth. He might pick them up and play with it but never puts it in his mouth. If I were to put anything other then food in front of him he will pick it up and put it right in his mouth.
I keep encouraging it and leaving food in front of him just for him to play in but nothing is working.
When I started my son on baby food his doctor suggested that we introduced veggies first because sometimes if you start fruits first they will take a liking to them and not the veggies. Well not my son apparently. He won't eat fruits. He just spits them out. I gave him veggies and he eats the whole jar with no problem! I still offer fruits but still no luck. He's had peaches, bananas and applesauce. Anyone else have this problem?
I've noticed some of you said that babies have rosy cheeks when they are teething... Was this true for your little one? I didn't know this but have noticed that my son's cheeks have been rosy here lately and hes been "chewing" on his thumb. He really isn't cranky though. Teething maybe? He is 6 months old.10 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade ago
I'm just curious to know when your child sit up on their own by themselves. My son is 6 months old and can sit by himself for short periods of time but still is wabbly. Everyone keeps asking if he is sitting up yet like he is suppose to be doing it already. He is a strong boy and holds his head up great but its like he's got that round butt thing and just doesn't sit well for very long by himself.11 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade ago
A girl I work with just told me that her cousin just gave birth. At the hospital they brought the baby into her room and her boyfriend fed him. Then afterwards her boyfriend handed over the baby and the mom was like "this is not our baby". All is well and no one else had her baby but why did this happen in the first place. Where I gave birth we had our wrist bands checked everytime our son came to our room or left. I was shocked that this happened.
I am thinking about buying a baby sling. My son is 5 months old. I know they make ones that are baby to toddler. Those of you who have one, which brand would you recommend? Do you like them? Do you find them useful? Any feedback would be appreciated.9 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade ago
My son is 5 months old and ever since he was born my mom thinks her nose belongs in my familys business. Yes I want her involved and she is but sometimes her opinions just drive me nuts. She always thinks her methods are right even if I go by text book methods! My fiancee is trying for a different job which could only be a 4 day a week thing. So I suggested that he would keep our son on Fridays when he is off. She looked at me and said "guys aren't as good at babysitting". Babysitting?? It's his son. I dont see it as babysitting. I dont want to be rude to my mom because I value a lot of what she says but sometimes her opinions just don't always need to be voiced! Just wondered if anyone else goes through this too.17 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting1 decade ago
This Friday we are having a carry in at work but its only finger food types of food. I know someone is making a cheeseball. I need some suggestions on what I can bring. Keep in mind it needs to be simple. I have a 5 month old son at home!27 AnswersEntertaining1 decade ago
