So I'm sitting in class right now without my earrings in. I've worn earrings nonstop for 7 weeks, being really stealthy to hide them from my school. I was finally found out, and today my principal told me that if I wore my piercings to school I'll be expelled.
My question is, can I take out my piercings during the school day, and but them back in afterwards, or will they close?
I'm in between my 7th and 8th week since I got my ears pierced.5 AnswersOther - Skin & Body9 years ago
I need to take ellipses in general form and write it in standard form.
I kinda remember how, but I lost my notes and can't find a decent tutorial online.
If possible I don't want just the answers. I have like 20 of these to do so I need some in-between steps.1 AnswerMathematics9 years ago
Let me start out by saying that I've broken a few rules for piercing ears. I got my ears pierced with a 16 gauge needle at a tattoo parlor over spring break. The first rule I broke was switching my piercings within the first week. I originally had a stainless steel balled rings, but piercings for guys are against school dress code, so I swapped them with clear bioplast studs. Everything was going fine, no swelling, redness or apparent infection for the first three weeks. I washed the piercings every morning with anti-microbial soap, and in the afternoons I've been soaking them in a cup of sea salt water.
Last night though, I woke up to find that stud in my right ear had come out. Blood was all over the pillow and I couldn't find the stud. I immediately cleaned the area with anti-microbial soap and pushed a taper through the soon to be closed piercing in my ear. After re-opening the piercing I placed a new bioplast U ring in my ear that is much less likely to fall out, although somewhat more visible than just the stud. It's a little red just from the trauma but I'm still not sure that it's infected. In fact it looks pretty healthy.
So I guess my question is, will it be ok?
Any input would be much appreciated.2 AnswersOther - Skin & Body9 years ago
what is the approximate value of theta if tan (theta) = 7/9.1 AnswerMathematics9 years ago
My public school has an extremely strict dress code.
Over spring break I got my ears pierced. I fully expect that this will be controversial because my dress code states,"No piercings of any kind for males (not even your ears)"
How can I use my constitutional rights to rationalize my piercings?
Is it even lawful for public schools to deny United States citizens the 1st and 14th amendment?
Any help on the subject would be appreciated.10 AnswersGender Studies9 years ago
So is it just me or is that oh so familiar 80's drum beat coming back? I don't play drums, so my description my not be very accurate. The best way I can describe it is a re-occurring higher tom. Maybe I'm just wrong, but I've heard it in a few new records like the suburbs by Arcade Fire and then the newest strokes album. I know there are others but they aren't coming to mind. I was just wondering if anybody else had noticed this. '-'1 AnswerRock and Pop10 years ago
I've bought Alienware's m11x laptop and I'd like to find a good laptop bag for it. I'm looking for a messenger bag of sorts that is durable and will protect my laptop, but I also don't want it to be bulky. I'm not sure if the smaller laptop bags will work with the M11x because it's a bit thicker than most mini laptops. Any suggestions?

I've been playing guitar for about 2 years now. Anyway, I learned vampire by antsy pants on guitar, but it didn't sound quite right. So I was wondering if it's possible to tune the 4 bottom strings of your guitar so they are like a ukulele. If so please tell me how to do it.
Thanks!1 AnswerPerforming Arts1 decade ago
The other day I got an LG scoop. With it I bought a 4 gig SD card and a card reader/writer. I have converted my entire itunes library to mp3 format because that's what my phone plays. But for some reason, when I try to put the songs on my SD card. (even mp3s that I recorded myself) Windows vista tells me that I cannot put them on my SD card because they are write protected. What's up with that, I should just be able to drag and drop songs onto my SD card... right? I know it's not a problem with the files themselves because I can bluetooth them to my phone and they work fine... but I don't have enough time to bluetooth my music one song at a a time.
Anyways, if you know what the problem is and could help me out, I would be very appreciative.2 AnswersCell Phones & Plans1 decade ago

I am 14, lately I have been playing chopan's prelude in c minor. It has very large stretches that require you to hit very hard to get them to sound right. I have been playing this song for about 2 weeks. Today when I was writing poetry, my wryst and fore arm started to hurt very badly. At first I thought it was just a cramp and cuntinued writing my poem. Later when I was practicing piano my hand hurt in the same way, I feal the same pain when I type with this hand or use it. I am typing with my left hand and my right and is in a brace. if you could tell me what you think this is it would help me out.7 AnswersPain & Pain Management1 decade ago
