My family is looking for a nice buffet type restaurant that is near our home. We frequent Journeys an Asian restaurant and we're kind of familiar with that area. Please share any Soul Food restaurants you've tried and would visit again.3 AnswersIndianapolis1 decade ago
People talk about having such happy pregnancies and I am on my third and have to say Happy isn't the first word that comes to mind. I LOVE being a mommy and even delivery has been relatively easy for me but my first trimesters are horrible. I'm tired, fatigued, nauseous, and all together drained. Things get much better after the second trimester begins, but am I really the only person that doesn't have rosie rainbow thoughts during the first trimester?13 AnswersPregnancy1 decade ago
I am one of those people that when I have a question in my mind that I just can't answer, it drives me crazy!! Please help me out here. I made People Puppy Chow for the first time (peanut butter, chocolate, chex, powdered sugar, butter) and it turned out great. The thing is that it reminded me of something from my youth...about 15-20 years ago. I first thought it was a butterfinger candybar and then maybe a chiko-stick, but neither of those are it.
Anyone have an idea of what this popular treat is causing me to reminisce about?3 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade ago
A Bavarian crystal company designs and produces crystal wine decanters. The production manager estimates a total cost (TC) and marginal cost (MC) of production to be
TC=10,000 = 40 Q + 0.0025 Q2 and MC= 40 +0.005 Q
where Q is the number of wine decanters produced and revenues and costs are in dollars. Because the company is only one of many crystal producers in the market, it can sell as many many decanters it wants at the market price of $70. Because it is a price taker, its total revenue (TR) and marginal revenue (MR) are
TR= P x Q =70 Q and MR=70
a. Find the optimal level of production of wine decanter. Please show work
b. Calculate the total revenue (TR), total cost (TC), and net benefit (profit) from selling the optimal number of wine decanters2 AnswersEconomics1 decade ago

In an article about the financial problems of a newspaper, Newsweek reported the paper was losing 420 million a year. An analyst said the paper should raise its price to bring in additional revenue. The paper's publisher rejected the idea saying the circulation could drop sharply after a price increase, causing revenues to fall. What implicit assumptions are the publisher and the analyst making about the price elasticity of demand for this daily national newspaper. Briefly Explain your answer6 AnswersEconomics1 decade ago

I am one of the people that actually come here to honestly answer questions in hopes of helping someone, I have a 21% best answer rating and feel that I answer from my heart. I have come across some very rude and vulgar questions and answers and have shrugged them off. NOW, last night I came across a question and couldn't understand it (like most of the people that came across the question) so I asked Huh? (as in what is the question?) and I got 10 points deducted for this. Said I was in violation of some policy...said it wasn't an answer or question. Now I've seen answers and questions that were obvious violations that are still up and yet me asking huh? to something I don't understand not only warrants my answer be taken down but also TEN not TWO points being deducted. Am I the only person that thinks this is wrong. I think that makes the site a bit hypocritical, deciding if I want to stay and keep posting on here or not!
As you can tell...I'm a bit upset..lol.14 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade ago
I think they take it wayyyy too far and that the tabloids bend the truth to make celebrities look the way they feel they should be portrayed. I am extremely disgusted how there was such a big conspiracy theory about Tom and Katie's baby and then when they choose to share pics the press still isn't satisfied.....now they claim it's a publicity Stunt....PLEASE!18 AnswersCelebrities1 decade ago
