A wiseass is both wiser than a smartass and smarter than a dumbass. My specialty is answering the unanswered questions. I answer your questions to amuse myself and earn meaningless points. I'm an expert. Trust me.
Why do some people type answers to questions as if they were sending a text message? For example, instead of saying "you are" they simply type "ur". Instead of typing "to" or "too", they type"2".
When using a QWERTY keyboard, I always use complete words and complete sentences. Then I click the spell check button. I won't go into punctuation or paragraphs.
I can understand if you send text messages that way. It saves messages. You can send something like "c u 2nite?" and it makes sense because you are just trying to deliver a quick note to someone. Personally, I use a phone that allows me to type out complete sentences. It also helps me spell the words.
I think I'm witnessing the death of the English language through laziness.

I can't stand it when a guy gives me a weak handshake. It makes me feel uncomfortable. I don't mind a soft handshake from a woman, but regardless of gender I prefer a firm handshake. I trust a firm handshake.
I would like to know how important is a good handshake to you? How do you shake hands? Age/Gender?
I appreciate any thoughts you have on this subject.
Thanks!10 AnswersOther - Society & Culture1 decade ago
In my experience, people who argue against evolution tend to understand the bible better than a science book. My question is why argue? It makes as much sense as me arguing that Moses built an arc. What is the reason for you trying to disprove something you have limited understanding of?
Those of you who understand evolution and argue against it should explain your understanding of evolution in your answer. I am looking for a logical answer. The person who demonstrates the most knowledge of both science and religion wins 10 points!10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago
Dear self-proclaimed experts,
I suffer from a chronic pain in the deepest muscle in my right butt cheek. I'm a 25 year old male and I suffered no injury. I simply woke up one morning two years ago with a bad limp and an even worse pain. My doctor seemed to think it was sciatica. I went to physical therapy and it made it worse. I had three injections of cortozone and that made the pain go away, but the shots were extremely temporary. Pain killers didn't help. The more I walk, the more it hurts. Sometimes it becomes worse just from twisting the wrong way. I have terrible balance and I feel most comfortable when I'm sitting or lying down. I'm heading into a chiropractor. Any suggestions to get some relief from the pain?1 AnswerPain & Pain Management1 decade ago
What would you do if your employer made you listen to the same crappy song every 20 minutes for 8 hours a day, 5 days per week for 8 weeks? The company I work for is doing just that. They wrote a holiday song and have been playing it exactly every 20 minutes (we timed it) since the first of November. Should that be considered a form of torture?23 AnswersOther - Health1 decade ago
Please specify which country you live in and your opinion of the USA. I am also curious as to why you feel the way you do about the country or its people. For the Americans, if you love this country because of freedom, please specify which freedom(s) and why.

I'm 25 years old and still single. All of my friends are getting married, yet I remain unattached. Honestly, I'm intellegent and attractive. I have a decent job and a place of my own. I'm 6', 185lbs, brown hair, blue eyes and I have a voice like Bing Crosby. I'm intellegent, honest, trustworthy and I have an excellent sense of humor.
I won't ask you to change who you are. I don't want you to change who I am. I just want a relationship that will work. I haven't had a lot of time for dating and I just moved to a new town where I don't know a lot of people.
Where can I meet intellegent and attractive women? I'm not a big drinker, so the bar is out. I also can't dance, so the clubs really aren't the place for me. I don't want to go to church, so please don't suggest it. I'm good at singing, listening, talking and making people laugh. Any suggestions on where I can meet the right girl?23 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade ago
Male, 25 yrs old, white, 170 lbs, healthy
I suffer from sciatic (nerve) pain. The pain is centered in my right buttock cheek. It comes and goes but it is easy to "tweek" my leg and the pain is quite terrible. I've had this since april '05. I've gone to the dr, physical therapy and when those didn't work, I went to a pain clinic where I was given three cortizone shots. The shots worked great and my leg felt fine for a while. Now the pain keeps coming back.
I don't want to rack up a bunch of dr bills, pop a bunch of pills or take painful shots. I need to find a cost-effective and perminate way of eliminating the pain. Any suggestions?8 AnswersPain & Pain Management1 decade ago
If stem cell research can be done without harming a single fetus, would you be for it or opposed to it? 90% of stem cells can come from an umbilical cord instead of an aborted fetus. That being said, do you still believe that it is immoral? Why?15 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade ago
I was homeschooled until I was 14. I started college at the age of 16. I graduated early with a 3.5 GPA while working 30 hours per week. Throughout my education, I was 2 grades ahead in math & science. I was actively involved with homeschool groups. I've met hundreds of homeschoolers in my life.
That being said, I would like to pose some questions. These are NOT personal attacks and you don't have to justify anything to me. I'm just curious as to the motivation behind homeschooling.
#1. What is your highest level of completed education?
#2. Why are you homeschooling your children?
#3. What impact do you believe homeschooling has on your child's social development? ("None" is not an acceptable answer)
#4. Should anyone be allowed to educate their own children? Why?
#5. Through what grade level do you plan on teaching your children? Why?18 AnswersHome Schooling1 decade ago
