  • Can and do doctors prescribe sex as treatment for their patients?

For example if someone has high blood pressure or rage issues would their doctor ever prescribe/recommend sex as a stress reliever or something else to help them? Also would medical doctors do this like physicians or could psychological doctors like therapists prescribe it too? Thank you!

  • What are some sites like DeviantArt and ShapeWays but for CNC machining?

I have a 3d model that I want created in real life maybe by CNC. I looked into ShapeWays (I recommend it) but I just want to see what there is for CNCing. I couldn't find any popular sites or sites with a large community like my example sites.

  • Do you think a microwave will ever completely replace a conventional oven?

I was looking on the back of a T.V. dinner box and it said to cook, it was either 4-6 minutes in a microwave or 35-40 minutes in an oven. I understand that it was pre-cooked and just needs to be thawed but I still wonder if a microwave will ever beat an oven.

  • In King of the Hill, Hank punishes Bobby for smoking by making him smoke. Is that good to end teen smoking?

I would doubt that that's a good way to end underage smoking. It was also done on an episode of Roseanne when Darlene smokes. But what do you think about it? Thank you for reading my question!

  • Whats the best computer brand for a computer science major and 3d video game/animation/modeling major?

My current laptop is a Dell and I have no complaints with the company. But the laptop is from 2008 (M1530) and I'm considering buying a top of the line computer (maybe desktop) for college. Which computer brand is better geared for computer majors?

  • What causes water from a bathroom faucet to smell bad?

I really don't know what smells bad. I cleaned the pipes that the water runs down into from the faucet but the smell still persists. Any ideas?

  • I'm having a weird problem with my M1530 Dell laptop. Its not a hard drive failure but its weird. More inside.?

For the past two week, my laptop has been warning me to back up data and contact my manufacturer to either repair or replace my hard drive. My laptop runs fine until I try to run any program or right click anything. There the laptop freezes and either I would have to restart it or the blue screen of death comes on and restarts itself. If I restart it, it runs fine. If it restarts itself, it says no hard drive found, press f1 to retry/reboot, f2 for system utility, and f5 for pre-boot system analysis (I think thats how it went). I do the psa and it says that no hard drive is detected (Error 2000-0141). PSA runs until it turns itself off in the middle of analysis. When I turn it on again, it runs normally. It asks me to either run in safe mode, sm with networking, sm with cmd, or start windows normally. Starting windows normally runs it normally with the problem persisting. Running in safe mode runs fine. ALL of my programs work perfectly fine in safe mode. Everything works fine in safe mode. I looked into the issue and people say to get a new hard drive because it failed. I dont think mine failed me. I looked into disk defragmentation, but I did a complete OS reinstallation (Vista 32 Home Premium) and reformatted the drive I was using, so I have relatively few files to defrag. I looked into CMO or something but idk about that. I also looked into the Registration Key cleanup or something like that and still idk. This problem began when I started downloading a file from the internet that itself wasn't what I wanted. Maybe a virus is messing with me. I considered doing another OS reinstallation since I did it a few times before and it fixed my problems. My laptop has no and creates no restore points, which always aggrevates me. I don't think I can do any intense repairs for my laptop can easily overheat (Once the hard drive hits 123 F, red flags go off). Before the Vista reinstall I always used Firefox instead of Internet Explorer, if that means anything. Maybe its a virus because the problem started when a download completed, and the download that I wanted didn't work when I unzipped it. Can you help me? Thank you!

  • What university in Chicago is decent enough to double major in Computer Science and Music?

I'm going to DePaul but I didn't qualify for their music performance degree. I'm thinking of transferring. I looked into Loyola and UIC but I'm unsure. My academic standing is good, but not well enough to qualify my to UofC or Northwestern. Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • Do you think it is a good idea to buy ap review books such as Barrons as a resource for college studies?

In the summer before I start college would an ap review book for certain subjects (Computer Science for me) be a wise idea or should I just use college level text books?

  • I lost all my user accounts on my laptop. Can you help me get it back? (Vista Basic)?

One day I was watching Youtube videos and uploading pictures onto Jewels' photo print site at the same time when all of a sudden the blue screen of death appeared. My laptop reset and it started up again at the logo and the load bar with F2 and F12 options at the top. Then it takes me to a screen that says "Windows Error Recovery...Windows failed to start, etc. then it gives me options to either recover windows or start windows normally. Both start windows normally (no fix) and my user account is gone. All it says is other users and when I click on it it makes me manually type in an account and password. I type in mine and it says no such thing exists. When I do F8, none of the options do anything; they start windows like in the previous sentence. I used my Vista recovery DVD. Startup Repair does nothing (it says 1 root cause, but it didnt do anything about it) so I clicked cancel to open up the other options. System Restore doesn't work because it says no sources were created (I believe there were many when it worked fine). Complete Restore from Backup does nothing. Windows Diagnostics doesn't work. I run the command prompt and do c: and C:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe and that doesn't work. Is there anything I can do? I read something about reseating the CMOS battery but ill wait on that. Is there any way to make system restore work or factory settings to work? Anything? Thank you! *If you need more info just post and i'll add to my question.

  • I require legal advice about who has responsibility of a child but there is no will that designates it.?

I have a cousin whose father just passed away without a will. He is survived by his spouse, his wife, but deceased spouse declared to the whole .family that he does not want the child to remain with the mother but his brother. THe problem is that it was not written down as a will. Now the surviving spouse is ignoring the verbal will and refusing to cooperate. The father's family had much more involvement in raising and the wife's family recently appeared to claim responsibility to the son and take him back to the wife's side and possibly sever any contacts with the father's side of the family. The son doesn't even want to be with the mother and we all know that but the mother believes she is the top figure in the situation and refuses to cooperate with anyone. The father's side of the family had to plan out the funeral and pay mostly for it while the mother's side had little involvement. Isn't there anything we can do to make the deceased spouse's verbal will final and leave the son under his brother's responsibility, not the mother's?

  • Is it difficult to be accepted into the Chicago College of Performing Arts?

I'm planning to major in violin performance at this school. Im working on Beethoven's Spring Sonata and Romance No. 1 and I'm quite well at performing them, I'm also working on Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 4 in D Major and a couple of Bach Sonatas and Partitas. Etudes are working well for me as I'm wraping up Mazas 75 Melodious Studies Book 1. Do you believe I'm good enough to make it in? If you made it in, how well did you audition for a spot? Any relevant responses will be greatly appreciated!

  • Did you study music performance at the Univ. of Illinois at Urbana-Champlain? How successful were you at it?

I'd like to know about studies in violin, but any instrumental or vocal input is appreciated.

Do you recommend any other schools?
