Pickles, brine cured, too salty, but turned out like "Clausen" is it safe two lighten up the salt a little?
Followed the recipe but a 1/2 cup of salt in about a 1/2 gallon of water resulted in a very salty crisp, almost irresistable pickle.
Can I reduce the salt and not die of food poisoning?3 AnswersEthnic Cuisine1 decade ago

Do the polititians drop huge insoluable problems, like global warming, on the masses to cover the hugh insoluable problems they create, like war? Sure seems to me that when we caught on to Viet Nam all of a sudden we had "Earth Day" and the "Oil Crisis" and now we have them again as "Global Warming" and "Oil Addiction" "Things are more like they use to be than they are now" ain't they!3 AnswersCurrent Events1 decade ago
Given the state of technology, wouldn't it be better to put the really pressing questions to the public and let them vote directly on them, cutting out the middle men and eliminating the graft and waste? Of course we couldn't let people with chads or brothers in the white house vote...too simple?11 AnswersGovernment1 decade ago
