I just bought this about a month ago. I have used it 3-4 times and now it's frozen. When I plug it into the computer, the computer freezes up. I'm thinking of taking it back to the store, but since I live 50 miles away, I thought a second opinion would be good first. Any ideas? It's a 2 gig nano.6 AnswersMusic & Music Players1 decade ago
A verse in the song goes like this "stop children~ what's that sound ~ everyone looks whats goin' round" My son has it on his voicemail (he doesn't know who sings it) and my daughter wants to know, but we can't find it anywhere. Song title and artist, both, please. Thank you2 AnswersOther - Music1 decade ago
I was wondering.... I have heard that if someone has cancer and the doctors do surgery the cancer comes back ~ faster and meaner. Do you think that the oxygen "agitates" it? I have a couple of lumps on my elbows, in between the 2 bones and I am petrified. The doctor wants to do a biopsy, but I think it will make it worse. Any thoughts?6 AnswersCancer1 decade ago
I live in a state that I do not like. I can't stand the weather and the isolation ( I live 50 miles from town in any direction.) However, I have a good job and a good boyfriend that loves it here and won't leave. Should I suck it up and stay or hit the road and find another life?9 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships1 decade ago
I drive everyday 32 miles up a canyon. Beautiful place, full of trees and animals. People are allowed to camp and fish and hunt there, and they do. Most are from out of the area and on the weekends you see 5th wheels everywhere. Some of them are complete slobs, leaving garbage scattered everywhere, when they depart and head back to where ever they come from. I hate the trash, so I stop and clean it up. My question is......... should I write down their license tag numbers and turn them into fish and game when they leave? Some of them leave their campers during the week and come back on the weekends. This happens from the beginning of May until the end of November.12 AnswersOther - Outdoor Recreation1 decade ago
How many believe that we are being sold out by our government? The cheap labor is no longer cheap and why doesn't everyone get it? In a time of terrorists, why are we willing to let people who break the law, live here without concequenses? I can't accept the lie that they are hard working people who do the job lazy American's won't do. We have people that would do those jobs. It's just no one wants to be accused of descrimination, so they hire mexican's first and claim we are lazy. We have a plant here that hires just mexicans. You have to speak spanish to work there and I have applied and was turned down, because I can't communicate with the illegals. Yes, there are good ones, but the bad ones out number the good ones.
Sorry for the soap box ~ here is the question
Are you willing to write to congress and sound off on illegals in our country?

We have a puppy, he is about 10 months old and we are having one heck of a time keeping him in the fence. We have repaired all the holes he has dug, replaced all the gates he squeezed out of. So, now he jumps over the fence. Our fence is 4 ft tall in some places and 5 ft tall in others. I can't afford to replace the fence. Why doesn't he want to stay in the yard. It's big, almost an acre, lots of room and toys. He is fixed and well treated. We play every chance we get. Yet everytime I go into the house, he escapes. I really need suggestions as my b/f wants to put him in a kennel/run. I want that as a last resort.6 AnswersDogs1 decade ago
Why do people call themselves African ~ Americans, when non of them have ever been to Africa? I mean, I call myself American ~ I put no other before that ~ not because I am ashamed or anything ~ but because I was born here. My parents were born here, and my grandparents were born else where. Would it be wrong to say that I am an ethnic American?
That way we wouldn't segregate ourselves.16 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups1 decade ago
I have twin Palm trees that I got when they were little. They are both 5 years old. When I got them, they were in the same pot and the thought never crossed my mind to seperate them. Then 2 weeks ago, they started to wilt and I was told to put them into seperate pots. Which I did. Now, they are showing signs of shock and I don't remember what to do to keep them from dying. Any suggestions?3 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade ago
