So, for how long do points stay on your licence in Northern Ireland? I asked him and now he's not sure. He thinks it's either three, four or five years. How can anyone live like that? Many thanks.

Spares for this printer are no longer available but I'd like to refurbish the absorption pad using some new material. The original pad is paper based and so, rinsing it is pointless as it is likely to fall apart. I have seen foam used in more modern printers to do the same job. My search, then, is for a foam absorption material about 1cm thick. I can cut it using the original as a template. Usual searches on the internet reveal little except for specific printers and specific faults. Or absorption material that is either industrial or not suitable because of its composition or size. Many thanks.

I don't do narcotics in any shape or form and this happens infrequently but it's still quite disconcerting. Maybe twice a month or so and for 2-3 minutes at a time. Any medical suggestions are most welcome. Thanks!

  • Just curious - Colorado state traffic laws?

How many years does a speeding offence remain on your record if you were pulled over by a state trooper? My friend reckons it's only 3 years but I tell him that it's probably more. He's already paid the fine but he's from out of state and wants to visit Colorado again to see some friends.

Earlier, what looks like a white Porsche 911, crosses in front of Straker as he waits to leave the drive. But it's the silver one that comes after Straker, which young John does not see, that I am interested in. I've tried freeze-frame but there is no detail. There is a small badge on the front but difficult to make out. Been trying to nail it down based on the year in which the show was aired, so no post-1970's cars please.

You had to build a blue tower before a timer ran out and the ball bearing knocked over the tower. 4. Fighting robots in a boxing ring - NOT "Sock 'em, Rock 'em" or "Raving Bonkers". 5. An airplane that sat on top of a blue base. You filled it with parachutes. As the base rotated beneath it, you lined up the sights and dropped the parachutes into the dips in the rotating base. You could move the plane in and out to line up with drop points. 6. A blue tray with white 'rockers'. You filled the blue tray with marbles, blue, red and yellow. There were cards with different patterns of blue, red and yellow 3x3 squares. As marbles fell to the bottom, the cards were filled up. Thanking you in anticipation!

  • Oncologists please - Cancer in the femur - how bad is this?

Okay, so I know someone who has had surgery and chemo for breast cancer and now they have been told that they have cancer in their femur. They had 15 lymph nodes taken during the lumpectomy and two of them were cancerous. What can potentially happen and what treatment might be offered? There had been talk of more chemo and then radiation therapy.

When the film was developed at a local trusted dealer, the entire film was overexposed and no images came out. My family are gutted at being disappointed this way. It's unlikely that I will ever get the chance to do this thing again. I chose the Kodak camera because I trusted the name to provide a quality product. The camera was never used in the water, only in air so I'm still not sure what went wrong. The developer said that these cameras fail more often than they work. What are your experiences with disposable cameras? Which brand would you recommend? Sorry, no category specific for this... Thanks!

I think the ignition coil in my Mum's Corsa is faulty. I have followed the Haynes manual to determine the short / open circuit condition of the test points. Unfortunately it doesn't give the expected measurements. Between any Low Tension (LT) point and the body of the coil is open circuit - infinite resistance as expected. Between the two LT points (primary coil) is a few tenths of an ohm as expected. Between any LT point and the HT pin (secondary coil to the distributor) is open circuit - Haynes says this should be a measurable resistance and not infinite as I have measured. Can someone with Vauxhall experience tell me if I need a new coil (or even a second hand one from a scrapyard - I'll test the readings first before buying) or even what the readings should be, please? Many thanks.

I think there is a reference to an old house when the game completes. I seem to remember that the middle four spaces were a safe zone where you could store cards prior to pairing off. The third game is one where you have to sort the cards into suits. There are four horizontal rows. Initially they all fill up but then the aces disappear and you can only move cards into the empty space. I think there was a comment or saying when the game completes. Many thanks, if you need more info, just ask and I will add to this question.
