I'm currently not working and can not afford much of anything.. Therefore, I can not afford an exterminator or even plastic bed covers.
What I have bought is hot shot bed bug and flea aerosol spray.
My concern is using it on my mattress.
I do not own and can not afford a steam cleaner.
Is it safe to spray hot shot on your mattresses and just let it dry and vacuum?
Is it safe to spray on clothes in your home? (not the clothes you're wearing, but the ones in your closet, drawers, ect.)5 AnswersCleaning & Laundry9 years ago
I woke up earlier with my heart pounding out of my chest and since then for about six hours now, my heart beat has been abnormally fast.
Does anyone know what this means?
It's freaking me out.1 AnswerWomen's Health10 years ago
I woke up a two days ago and my ankle was all swollen and bruised. I have no idea what I did for that to happen. I can walk on it, but i can not get a shoe on it. Any sort of pressure hurts and the swelling has not gone down. What should I do? I can not miss work because of this.2 AnswersInjuries1 decade ago

My boyfriend and I live in his grandfather's basement and have lived here for a little over a year. We pay him rent. We are not allowed in the upstairs of the house unless we are taking a shower, using the bathroom, doing laundry, or cooking. The problem is that he gets pissed when we cook. He is a chain smoker and is constantly in the bathroom smoking; it's the only place in the house where he will smoke. He gets pissed if we have to use the bathroom or shower. If i'm in the shower for longer than 5 minutes, he gets really mad. He also gets mad when we do our laundry. Recently, he left my boyfriend a note about how the water bill went up a whole $8 this month. I don't think $8 is that big of a deal, but to him it is. My boyfriend even offered to pay him the extra $8 or to even pay the whole water bill, but he said no. What should i do? He rarely showers, doesn't cook because he only eats fast food, he never runs the dishwasher, ever, he rarely does laundry, etc. How can I get him to understand that we need to shower, do laundry, and wash our dishes? I know we should move out, but right now we can't afford to. This is his house and I do not feel comfortable here. I don't feel comfortable using the shower, doing laundry, etc because i know it bothers him, and he has no problem showing when he is pissed about something. What should i do?1 AnswerOther - Home & Garden1 decade ago
I live with my boyfriend and his cat hates me. Suggestions like giving her treats or playing with her is not going to work because she is not at all playful and she does not like treats. She is a very mean cat. If I try to pet her, which I don't do often, she just growls at me and occasionally hisses. I give her plenty of space because she is a very independent cat. But she basically just sits in the back of our basement and glares at me. God forbid we ever have a house fire because she would not allow me to pick her up to get her out, that is if i could even find her! How can I get her to like me?3 AnswersCats1 decade ago
I am taking fahrenheit dietary supplement for women. Every time I take the pill, I feel a bit nauseous. Is this normal? Why is this happening? I take it with the correct amount of water and eat afterwards, but I still get nauseous.3 AnswersAlternative Medicine1 decade ago
It says on the container that in every 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, there are 7grams of protein. Is that a lot? What are some foods that are high in protein? (other than chicken) How many grams of protein should you consume each day?4 AnswersDiet & Fitness1 decade ago
Are there some easy exercises you can do at home without work out equipment that will help you lose weight fast? I already know to drink plenty of water and eat right, I just need more ideas for exercising.1 AnswerDiet & Fitness1 decade ago
Every time one of my two cats use the litter box, my whole basement instantly stinks. It is really, really bad. I can't go anywhere down here to escape the smell. (yes, i live in a basement.) They eat expensive good quality cat food. Is this normal? What might be causing this?9 AnswersCats1 decade ago
I have an 8 month old tabby cat. He doesn't appear to be under weight. He is pretty petite and skinny, but he looks muscular. There is not a set time during the day that i feed him. Because I am not always home, my cats have food and water dishes that you fill up in a compartment at the top, and the food or water drops down as they need it. When I am home, I've noticed that my cat only eats 2-3 times a day, and it's only a small amount. He usually eats at the same time each day too. Is that enough food for him?5 AnswersCats1 decade ago
I read somewhere that if your cats gums are somewhat pale, they could be sick. I also read that cats gums are normally a pale pink color. What color should they be? I don't want a description. I have been trying to find a picture of what they should look like, but can not find any.3 AnswersCats1 decade ago
My male tabby kitten is about 8 months old. I have a female black cat who is about a year and a half old. Every time and i mean literally EVERY TIME the female cat goes to eat food or drink water, the male tabby will come and push her out of the way and begin eating or drinking. He doesn't show any sort of interest in the food or water til he sees her eating or drinking. I've tried disciplining him, telling him no, and squirting him with water. Nothing seems to work. Why is he doing this? How can i get him to stop? i have no way of separating them or feeding them separately. I am worried that my female cat is not eating or drinking enough.7 AnswersCats1 decade ago
