I love the show...don't get me wrong!
These so-called magic tricks (levitating, hypnotizing, disappearing acts) seem to me to just be some great television trickery. I am baffled, and want to know if it's merely entertainment edited for television, or if there is any validity behind his magic? Would love some solid proof.
Any opinions?31 AnswersReality Television1 decade ago
She was obviously rough housing with the other dogs. She has a cut i'm not sure where exactly it's bleeding. I flushed her eye out with water...but should I take her to a vet to get something to help prevent an infection? Or should she be ok? She's in discomfort, but she is not yelping from pain. Her eye was completely filled with blood.18 AnswersDogs1 decade ago
I am applying as a special agent and haven't a clue as of how to let them know that I have a passion for helping animals without being overly-sentimental. Anybody have any ideas of what I can say that might catch their eye if I faxed over my resume?2 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment1 decade ago
I was asked to include a salary expectation with my resume for the current job I am applying for. How can I phrase this successfully? Just looking for a simple but effective line or two. Thanks!8 AnswersCareers & Employment1 decade ago

I am a bit worried, as my period normally shows up early, and now it is about a week late. I did have an incedent with my boyfriend this past month which could have been cause for concern...
I have no other signs that I can be pregnany, besides the late period, and fact that I am awfully moody for the last week. I have never been the type to PMS, I always have a fairly sunny disposition even under heavy stress. Now I can pretty much cry at any given moment for some reason. I'm easily aggitated, and I swing from real happy to pissed off in a matter of seconds. It's not like me at all...

I've had an awful cold for a month now. It is clearly a bad infection as well, and I've been taking robbitussin, tylenol cold and sinus, using saline sprays, yet nothing is stopping this infection. (symptoms are the nasty yellow mucus when I cough or blow my nose, and awful congestion)
Am I going to have to admit defeat and head to a doctor to get antibiotics, or can I kick this cold myself?
side note: I'm just trying to avoid the doctor because I've got a wicked deductible this year and I can't stomach the fact that I'm going to have to blow $200+ to simply kill a cold. Gotta love insurance...4 AnswersOther - Health1 decade ago
I attended the vans warped tour in 1995, featuring Sublime, L7, No Use For A Name, Quicksand, amongst others....and yeah, this was during the day of plastic disposable cameras. I have no photos from it, just memorabilia I collected when I was there. Anybody know where I can dig up old photos?

I've never had this condition before, but now it's persistant for 3 weeks. I thought i just had a cough, but my boss suggested that it is post-nasal drip? The more I read up on it, the more I realized it is.
What kind of medication/s should I take to successfully rid myself of post-nasal drip?8 AnswersRespiratory Diseases1 decade ago
From the age of 18 to 24 I wracked up a heaping pile of late fees on my credit cards, and have finally paid everything off last month which took a huge load off my back.
I worry most that the man I love will be devistated when we marry, and we cannot buy a house together because of my awful credit history!
How can I now start to build good credit and leave this all behind me so that I have a chance at owning a house?8 AnswersCredit1 decade ago
I recently met a guy worth brining home to mom...The first 2 months have been so wonderful...we've barely been apart for more than 2 days at a time. Last night, we had plans to go ice-skating at Time Square. I went to go pick him up, and he was sitting on the couch in his boxers smoking pot with his roommate. Asked if I mind just staying in and picking up some McDonalds and watching a movie instead. I was a little disappointed, but wasn't going to make a fuss out of it. We sat on his couch the whole night, he drifted in and out of sleep, barely said a word to me, and continued to smoke. Practically baked out his entire livingroom.
We're not 18 years old anymore, and my patience is wearing very thin with "relationships". I suppose it could be much worse, but should I stick around and deal with this? He has pot all over his house, as well as bongs, and papers lying around everywhere. Should I consider this his one flaw and let it go? He's great in every other way...40 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade ago
I can't tell you how many accidents I avoid per week due to senior citizens on the road driving during the day and not paying attention to where they are going. And to top it off, they think seniority grants them a free pass, and of course are always right. In fact, last week I was *parked* in a parking lot and nearly got slammed into by an old lady who wasn't paying attention to what she was doing. Later I spotted her in Dunkin Donuts and she yelled at me that I should not be allowed on the road. Infuriating! They can do NO WRONG!!
So my question is what on earth is taking so long for a law to be passed that requires senior citizens to be re-tested for their license?7 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade ago
They're too expensive to buy on eBay. Any other sites to buy them? The ones from the 1980s. Not the modern ones.3 AnswersToys1 decade ago
