  • What do you think of people choosing to clone their departed pets?

On MSN today they are talking about a couple from Florida that chose to clone their yellow lab that died of cancer. They spent upwards of 155,000 to have this done. Alot of research done shows that cancer can be carried in the genes and I was wondering what you thought the possibilty of this dog also developing cancer would be? And there is always the morality isuue.

  • Are problems with the husband reasons for problems with the son?

Here is my problem. My husband has some pretty serious issues with anger, and with the fact that he does not like to accept responsibility for our sons' behavior. Our son acts exactly like he does and when your 12 that is unacceptable. Any punishment I have tried with my son my husband overrules and lets him do what he wants anyway, and than I get blamed as his bad behavior progresses. I am getting to the point where I am contemplating leaving him, just to keep the kids from having to be around him all the time, maybe that would help. I just dont know what to do. I really wish I could figure this out but my husband wont bend any to what we need to do to help him. I guess I need advice

  • Dreams coming true...Bad?

I have looked this up basically anywhere I can. And I have been unable to find answers. I dream, every night. From basic things such as what I am going to buy when shopping to other very minor things. And than there are THE dreams, death, pain, problems and other things that I dont really want to talk about. But they all come true. Wether a week from now, yesterday or tomorrow. I want them to stop but i am not sure what to do, If medication would help, or something. Anything. Or maybe just talking to someone who has the same situation? I dont know. Any help or ideas are appreciated

  • Phone use at camp(Son's first time)?

My son will be going away to camp this summer and I just received the list of camp rules and one of them is that you are to not bring a cell phone to camp and they are not allowed to use the phone. They stated that they want campers to immerse themselves in camp and become lost in the expirience. Has anyone else sent kids to camp and done this.

  • Grandpa sick?

My grandfather was injured at the nursing home he lives at, someone got his finger caught in his wheelchair spoke and broke the finger, the home didnt find out that the finger was broke for about 3 weeks. He is severely diabetic and ended up with a staff infection in the finger, today he had to have the finger amputated. What is botering me id the fact that the nursing home that he is at spent all this time soking his hand in Epson salts and he didnt receive any form of antibiotic unti at least a month after he was hurt, I was wondering if anyone knew what I could do to make sure that this doesnt happen to anyone else at this home, it is awful the way that they care for him. They do not monitor his diet and they do not care for him properly. The whole reason why he is in the home is because he needs constant care. What should I do?

  • Shitzu problems?

I have a 3 year old shitzu that was my grandmothers dog up until about a year ago. We broke him of an aggrassion problem and thought he was going to make a great family pet. Than my husband and I went on a trip for a week and when we came back he was a completely dfifferent dog, He is constantly humping our other dog, who is a male. And I mean tp the point of complete exhaustion, he isnt eating as much because hes too busy humping. And if we try to stop him he goes back into the aggressive barking snarling and biting. He bit my son on the leg todau when he tried to get daughters doll from other dog and interupted the shitzu. We have thought through and the only options are neuter him and see if it works, if not put him down. Or just put him down. I dont want to give him away and have him bite someone else. I guess i dont know what to do . Its alot harder being grandmas dog also. And he is fairly young to be put down.

  • Too Many Animals?

Ok heres the deal, up until about 5 months ago I had 1 dogHhad him for 6 years) One Cat (had him for 4 years). That was fine and plenty because I live in a 14x70 trailer home. Than my grandma died and my grandpa was put into a nursing home so I aquired their shitzu. Which was ok. Than 2 weeks ago someone dropped off a huge orange cat and my kids found it and brought it in and he is a absolute sweetheart. My problem is I HAVE NO ROOM! However I cannot bring myself to get rid of or destroy any of these animals. The cats would be put to sleep at a shelter and the dogs are the only things I have to take up my time when everyone is gone all day. I just dont know what to do. And my husband wants to get rid of the cat and the shitzu. What would you do?

  • Lying Brother in law?

Alright my BIL moved here a few years ago. He used to work for the carnival and just kind of landed here. He refuses to file his income taxes, and when he and my sister got married they had my mum go online and get licensed to perfprm wedding ceremonies. I am guessing so he didnt have to prove who he was to a courthouse or anything. He treats my sister like she is a slave. and if I mention any of this to her she gets pretty upset because there kid is sick and she cant really handle it now. Is there any way that I can find out what this guys deal is?

  • Discipline 11 year Old?

My son is 11 and he goes through these spurts, a week he is really good, and than all of a sudden he goes into a spell where he is in trouble at school and this week he was suspended from the bus for two days, What or How do I discipline him so that it will stick. I have tried to ground him which never works because we live in the middle of no where and there is nothing to really ground him from. I have taken away his TV and Video game privelages this also does not work I am at my wits end because I know he can be good. He just chooses not to, And the school is starting to think they should lean towards medication, he has already been tested for all of that and that doesn't seem to be a problem. Any advice?
