i love my horses Sazie and Dasiy.
I'm a 17 year old girl, and I work out regularly. Lately, I've been having some weird things happening.
Most of the time when I stand, I've been getting light headed and my vision is clouded with black dots. The black blocks a lot of my vision. It takes about fifteen seconds for it to clear, and after that, my vision is fine. My limbs seem to be falling asleep faster than normal. I don't really sit still for long periods of time, but I still get that dang tingling feeling.
Also, I've been getting really hot at random moments. Everyone else will be comfortable in the room and so will I, but suddenly, I get extremely warm. It will last for two or three minutes, then I'm back to normal.
I do have issues with anxiety, but these symptoms don't always happen when I'm anxious.

I'm helping this girl with her standardbred. She wants to be able to use him as a family/pleasure horse. The problem is the trot. It's so bouncy and to make it worse, the horse pulls on the bit so hard during the trot that between the trot itself and the pulling, you're being bounced out of the saddle.I can stay on during the trot, but I can't sit it. I've watched three other people (with more experience than me) try to get this horse to trot smoothly, but they've been having the same issues.
The horse is about 14 and was a harness racer. He's been off the track for +7 years, and the girl has owned him for 3.
If anyone has any helpful suggestions, that would be great :)4 AnswersHorses8 years ago
If you were to come from outside where it was below freezing (and was out there enough for your body temp. to change) and then go strait to a hot shower, will the temp change do any damage to the body? What about hot shower to freezing air?1 AnswerOther - Health9 years ago
I'm a young, unpublished writer and I'm trying to get the most accurate information for my story as possible. My question is, what can happen if alcohol and/or marijuana was used while a person was taking anti-psychotic medication? No rude answers, please, I just want accurate information for my story!3 AnswersMedicine9 years ago
I'm not a published author, although i hope to be someday, but I post on fictionpress.net. I am always trying to find more facts about things for my characters (like what the MI laws are about cocaine, gluten free foods, and mental conditions). I talked to a few other writers who say they never do research. What about you? How much research do you do for a story?3 AnswersBooks & Authors9 years ago

I'm working a story right now, and it's broken into books. The whole thing is called Directions, and it's all about following the life (from age 9-20) of a boy who has sever mental issues due to the horrible abuse he suffered through. The first book is titled Lost and follows the boy from the time he is abandoned by his parents and placed in foster care, then finds long lost family members who take him in and promise to raise him. The second book is titled Recalculating and picks up from Lost. The boy is finally learning how to function in normal life when his parents find him and kidnaps him, abandoning him again after abusing him for a few hours like they did before he was abandoned the first time.
The third book is going to be following him from 13-18. During this time, his real mental issues start to show and his life takes a huge downfall. I need a name that would fit this book and deals with directions, but I can't think of any! I'm considering something like 'downhill', but that doesn't really have anything to do with directions. Do you have any ideas?? Please help!3 AnswersBooks & Authors9 years ago
I have a 11 y/o QH who is 15 hands and is an amazing, well trained horse. I also have a Tennessee Walker mix who is almost16 hands and over 1000 lbs. Both are great loaders, but we never trailered them together. Now, we have to trailer the two of them at the same time.
The problem we are having is that neither like being in the smallest stall in our two horse slant load. They usually trailer with the devider held open (it's not banging around in there, it's securely being held open.) With it being open, they get the maximum space in the trailer. But neither of them are comfortable in the other stall. They will get in and - have to push on the side of their rear to Get them to move over and they let me close the devider, but then they push on the dcider with their buts. You can tell they are not okay with the idea of this.
They are both great horses and loads and I wouldn't be to concerned with this, but I am afraid of ruining their comfort with the trailer. Any ideas of how to get them to realize that it's okay? They do have a hay bag in there.3 AnswersHorses9 years ago

I have a 6 y/o QH mare named Lola. We used to have a second horse but he had to be put down. Since then, Lola and I have bonded a lot more. But she seems to be very protective of me.
Me and my little bro were messing around in the pasture. I was cleaning, horse was out, and my little bro was suppose to give me a bottled water. He didn't give it to me, so, like siblings always do, we started pushing each other (jokingly, lol we weren't trying to really fight). We started wrestling and all, then we heard Lola's hooves. We both jumped up and he went one direction and I went the other. Lola charged at my little bro, snorting and flinging her head all over the place. She didn't try to hurt him, more of tried to scare him. She just ran really close to him like she was going to run him over then turned around really quick.
Do you think this is because she's become protective of me, or do you think she just didn't like the noise my brother and I were making?
She's never done this before to my bro, but she has done similar things to our goat and dog after I've given them attention.
